Good interrupts can make up for a lack of dps and vice-versa. Having both makes the fight so much easier.

saving a few pieces of it that there really arent upgrades for, like trinket, wand, neck, but tossing head/body/legs/feet because there are craftables which blow these out of the water.

First boss does only shadow damage, unless you hit him while his green shield is up. He hits for 700-1k normal shadow damage swings with 1-2k AoE bombs which he can do up to 3 in a row of. Plate makes no difference, only HP and shadow resistance. So a priest could even tank :D

They definitely had plenty of copies. When I went to pick my pre-order up the day after the midnight release, they had 20+ unsold copies yet.

Steam tonks don't do damage to mobs :(. Also: Necro-bump. Yes thats my main on azshara which I'm usually on, although I try to visit and get a level or two on my druid on stonemaul once in awhile.

I wish I knew this as well, the party castbars are neat, but not really necessary, so I just turn them off. It is the target castbars that I get the most use out of.
