With permission from Tek, #CGA, #ToJ, and #ToJ-CS are back up and registered for anyone interested in stopping by and/or idling. Maybe I'm in the stoneage with realtime communication with the popularity of TeamSpeak and Ventrilo and the like, but I'm always on so. Anyone who wants to come in or idle, it's a good way to get a game going if you usually split between XFire, AIM, or anything else.

It's basically a global network of chatrooms, Internet Relay Chat I believe. Good for setting up scrims and getting people together for a game. Realtime as in think of it as a forum with everyone together at once in the same place.

i tried IRC but noone ever talked and everyone was just idle. got boring
 
I'll be idling #cga under Dezzimal, my nick when I played FFXI. Its the nick that people on that network recognize me by, otherwise I'd use quepasa :(
