FOOD AGAIN!!!!!!

What difference would it make if they were scrambled at this point? That'd just be icing on the cake of toast-instead-of-biscuit. :P

Forgive me scrambled well done, because it mixes better with the gravy on the steak.

Wait a minute. . .

I only eat eggs scrambled. I can't stand them any other way. Are you saying that I am on the dark side? I didn't realize there was an egg connoisseur subculture. . .

I feel I have redeemed myself to a certain extent. After our follow up appointment today we went to a small biscuit chain, and I had biscuits and gravy, with further redemption by ordering a side of sausage. Unfortunately being the type of establishment they are they did not have grits at that time, so I had to order hash browns again. And I even added a little healthy to it by having orange juice to drink.

I'm not sure that today's righteous deed cancels out yesterday's sin, though it is still appreciated for what it is. :P

No, I eat scrambled eggs, usually with a little cheese mixed in, or in an omlette. I was remarking on ursen's choice to eschew busicuits for toast it could at least have been used to dip in the eggs.

OMGOODNESS Y'all just amaze me sometimes.........Chuckling over this whole last week's comments. I got a story for you. We were born up North but moved South during late elementary early junior high.......my brother did not like the sound of "grits" so when we told him that this nice sausage links were grits he would not even touch them.

Myself I like most foods regardless of where they are from including most international foods........I do not like more slimey type textures though so give me a spinach salad over cooked spinach and don't bring me any good ole Southern greens as I won't eat them.......my daughter tends to like raw veggies over cooked most of the time too.

Great White Northern Beans .......add ham and ketchup......and serve them with sweet corn bread that's one thing I grew up eating......hubby adds vinegar to his beans instead of ketchup.......also if you happen to have a can or bottle of beer lying around that takes the unwanted side effect away from the beans.

By the way our little girl who is just 6 eats almost anything including Sushi, Indian, Mexican, Italian etc........but if I let her she would definitely be more vegetarian.........not vegan as she loves her yogurt, milk, and cheese.

So I just kidnapped this thread.....where to go from here..........I know avocados.......how to do you LOVE them.............

Guacamole, in eggs, in sushi, on sandwiches.......Washington state area, in quesadillas, or something else. We eat them all of these ways and more like as a topping to salads as well or for little miss just on her plate.....she doesn't eat lettuce. She was also my guacamole baby as that is one of the things I eat while pregnant.

Not derailed at all, or even kidnapped, food is what this is all about. Baking soda will do the same thing for a pot of beans, just don't use the pressure cooker while doing that. Using a pressure cooker for beans can be touch and go, and needs some care and forethought. Save the pressure cooker for tough cuts of meat. Or doing 'taters and carrots in less time than the nuker. Sorry no love for guacamole here, if it is part of one of my Mexican dishes I just give it to my better half.

My wife does some mean pressure cooker meals. One of her former managers told a story of how she tried to cook garbanzo beans in a pressure cooker. They blew the regulator off and then shot out of the top of the cooker until the pressure was finally released.

Guacamole is evil.

I have only lost 2 fuses in all the years of using pressure cookers, which is a pretty good record for the number of years using them. It is spectacular when they do go, and it is advisable to leave the general vicinity with all alacrity.

NOW NOW....... y'all missed it ........I didn't say how do you LOVE Guacamole, but how do you LOVE avocados...........there really is a taste difference between them......also some guacamole really just isn't it's more of a spread or dip not a true guacamole.

I love avocados any way I can think of. I made fresh guacamole last night and we demolished it. Yummmm.... :)

I like avocados. I shamelessly like avocados in guacamole form (though I prefer to make it myself) to put in burritos or on sammiches. I need to find more uses for avocados at some point, though. Seen a few, I just don't think to include them in my cookin'.
