FOOD AGAIN!!!!!!

35 is baseline, there are a lot more months on top of that. A breakdown in communication between waitress who speaks no Spanish and cooks who speak limited English. Speaking of breakfast who has better breakfast, McD's or BK? Fast food entries only please I know IHop, Frisches, and others can blow them outta the water.
Chick-fil-a. I avoid McD for breakfast and refuse to eat BK anymore.

I agree Chick Fil A has a tasty breakfast menu. I did not love their biscuits & gravy though. But the chicken minis are yuuum as well as the chicken biscuit. I don't think I've had a BK breakfast. :0 So between the two, McD's would win by default. Hardee's/Carl's Jr (depending on what they're called where you live) used to have a pretty tasty breakfast.

Hardee's serves a fried baloney biscuit sandwich here. Chick-Fil-A looks good, but that would be a long drive fer me. If I had to choose biscuits and gravy between McD's and BK it would be no contest, McD's does the best of those two. The big problem with fast food sandwiches for b'fast is the egg. Most taste awful because of the preprocessing and prep methods.

Oh man, that's certainly not what I had in mind when I mentioned Hardee's, lol. They used to have REALLY good biscuits & gravy. Tis a shame you don't have Braum's where you live. They have a lot of good stuff. Sonic has good breakfast burritos, but I don't know if you're into that. I can't think of a fast food place with really good eggs. :-/ But if I'm getting eggs at a fast food place, I try to at least get ones that resemble eggs cooked in some normal way rather than the folded sheets of egg foam :P

I've only had Hardee's once since moving from the west coast, and it paled in comparison to even middling Carl's Jr.s. The nearest Hardee's is 15-20 miles away, so I haven't given it another chance. I kinda miss my Carl's Jr., though. I thought they had a surprisingly good fast food biscuit.

And Braum's? Sheesh. Making me miss Texas now. lol

Speaking of fast food abuse of eggs, have any of you had, or even had thoughts about McD's new breakfast sandwich:

Egg White Delight

Was intrigued by the concept, but noooo wayyyyy am I going to try it. It doesn't even look like food in the pictures.

OK Memorial day. What is the best cook-out, easy, fast thing to cook on the grill?

Had the first watermelon of the season for us - along with homemade hummus, quinoa and veggie mix - not sure what we'll have tonight. I'm thinking tomato sandwiches sound pretty good.

I accidentally posted this in the other FOOD thread by mistake.

Hot dogs are def the quickest and easiest, but I rarely eat them because I generally try to avoid things that highly processed. :-/ If I eat a hot dog it's a Hebrew National. :)

Other than that, I'm pretty boring with grilled foods. I like burgers mostly. And sometimes kebabs.

That sounds awesome. Any special recipe or do you literally just mix all these things together?

Hummus was on the side with sliced red peppers (or chips if you want) - the quinoa was left over and mixed with whatever veggies we had. In this case it was steamed broccoli and baby carrots, with sauteed onion, garlic, water chestnuts, and some baby corn. It was delightful.

I smoked a beef brisket at my son's request (he passed his OGT (Ohio Graduation Test) on the first try) with smoked asparagus and backed beans.

We did burgers yesterday.

Ok for medical reasons I have to fast today, plus do a big clean out, prior to a procedure tomorrow. I am type 2 diabetic so what would be the best place to go eat afterwards? Where would you go?
