FOOD AGAIN!!!!!!

Fried Breaded Mozzarella Sticks
Which do you prefer, Ranch Sauce or Marinara Sauce with 'em?
Yes please!

I eat them without sauce, it really doesn't matter with fried cheese.

BTW, went to Culver's last week and had fried cheese curds. Not quite as good as what I remember from my friends who brought them back from Minnesota, but very very good none the less.

I don't care for beans and cornbread (together) either. Separately they're alright. Cornbread, I only like with butter that's not melted. Weird right.

Uhm, why would anyone eat beans and cornbread together? Or are you just saying like baked beans and corned bread in the same meal. I wouldn't have a problem with that.

My wife made chili with cornbread a couple nights ago. There were beans in the chili, does that count? Although, I think most of them were kidney beans.

Buncha Philistines, don't know about bean soup and corn bread. Ok let's go to the Mexican restaurant and order something good,
Chili Colorado

That sounds good.

Brings me to another question...

Chili, how do you like it? Beans, no beans? Vegetarian? Cincinnati style, or is there some local variation?

I make a pretty simple chili con carne with beans and we started putting it over rice after finding a new recipe. We also love Cincinnati style so I get a couple of cans of Skyline Chili and make our own three-way (Chili, spaghetti, with cheese and beans).

Chili Colorado sounds good, never had it tho (looked up some recipes).

Confession is good for the soul so here goes. After better half's cataract surgery we wound up at a restaurant that sells both Mexican and American food. Having gone to a different Mexican place for Cinco de Mayo I decided on American. Specifically country fried steak and eggs. The sins are two, I ordered hash browns instead of grits, then compounded the sin by having toast instead of biscuit. Please be understanding and forgive me.

The hash browns instead of grits is not only forgivable but also advisable. The toast instead of the biscuit however...I'll have to dig deep into my heart for that one. ;) Guess this girl just isn't southern enough. ;)

I'm sorry - those are unforgivable sins. It's one thing when you have no options, but when you do have the option...well...unforgivable.

Toast instead of biscuit? Uuuurgh. Why couldn't you pick an easier sin to forgive like robbing a bank? :P
