FOOD AGAIN!!!!!!

I don't like avocados or guacamole. And there is plenty of both around me living here in the Southwest.

While we are on the idea of regional fruits and vegetables what is your opinion of:
Mangos

I like mangoes, but when I'm here in MO I don't usually go out of my way to buy them. I was spoiled when I was in Mexico for 3 weeks on a mission trip in 2003. We ate them pretty much daily and those were AWESOME.

I like the tilapia with mango salsa at a restaurant here though. :)

So there is a lot of local beers, hard ciders, and wineries around where I live in Virginia. There are even a few bourbon distilleries. Haven't tried any of them yet. I have tried some local sparkiling Apple Raspberry Sparkling cider though and it was rather good. Along with with some bacon, pork sausage, and milk from the area. Good stuff.

We were at a Mexican/American restaurant yesterday for Mom's day, and my sis-in-law who lives near here showed incredibly good taste and only ordered a bowl of:
Grits

Then shared a little black beans off of my brothers plate.

Better half and I went to our favorite Mexican/American restaurant for out monthly anniversary last night (well over 420 months), and she tried ordering pecan pancakes, but wound up with
Buttermilk Pancakes.

I'm impressed that still after 35 years you's still go on a monthly anniversary date. What you didn't say is how she ended up with buttermilk pancakes. Did she order in Spanish?

35 is baseline, there are a lot more months on top of that. A breakdown in communication between waitress who speaks no Spanish and cooks who speak limited English. Speaking of breakfast who has better breakfast, McD's or BK? Fast food entries only please I know IHop, Frisches, and others can blow them outta the water.

Went to BK this morning. D:

Between BK and McD's breakfast offerings, I gotta go with McD's. I base this opinion solely upon my biscuit preference. Other factors need not apply. BK's biscuits have gotten tastier, but McD's wins it for me. ^_^
