I'm voting for Ron Paul

baloney. The war is unconstitutional. We never declared war therefore there is no war therefore we should not be there. Waving 9/11 around like that is ridiculous.

Read the constitution i posted earlier.

I thought Osama claimed responsibility?? (and we could've had him hanged long ago, but a certain president let him go...)

Anyway, my father is in Afghanistan. From firsthand experience he says that we are by all means not ready to leave. They're still training the extremely corrupt police and if we leave it'll go down the toilet. I also know that he personally doesn't appreciate the people who talk about the war the way you do. Let him do his job.

I'm sorry for the boldness, but I feel rather strongly about this.

I appreciate Ron Paul's stance on constitutionality, but if we had followed his advice over the years, we would not have warming relations with the former soviet republics.

I can not support a man that would have us forsake aid and security of other peoples around the world yearning to breathe free in the face of hungry neighboring tyrants. I have little doubt that under his leadership, countries like Taiwan, South Korea, and Israel would be in serious danger of being conqured and having tyranny imposed, just like South Vietnam. The cost could be staggering.

I have a friend that spent 3 years in Afghanistan and 2 in Iraq, and he says pulling out would be a nightmare...so I hope whichever president we get, doesn't decide to just pull out altogether, or like Bonk!Ow! said, everything will go down the toilet... Most people like to have a objective, and reach it by any means, regardless of the consequences, and I think that is how most of American's are when it comes toward the war on terrorism...they just want it over, no matter what has to happen...but this way would just cause more problems...

This is a reason I do not like Ron Paul...the things he says sounds nice, but aren't gonna happen...oh wait...that is a politician, isn't it...I hate them all... ANYONE who lies FOR ANY REASON is no friend of mine...and that includes almost every politician... Just because you are a politician DOES NOT give you the right to lie... I would like to ask a person big into politics this: Do you like politicians? Common answer: some of them; Do you like prostitutes? Common answer: No!; My point: both are sinning to make an income...so why are politicians any different from prostitutes...in God's eyes...

Guess what guys! Ron Paul is losing, and all the other candidates are crap! The first time I get to vote, and there's nothing but a bunch of morons to vote for! Expansionist party here I come!

I would rather keep Bush 4 more years than vote for ANY of the current big name candidates that have the potential to win...

I won't be voting for any of hte big name candidates because they are all world gov't backers...Bush isn't quite hte socialist Obama is and nobody can top Hillary for communistic ambitions and desires.

If RP is not on the ballot he's going to be written into my ballot.

Thats just like throwing away your vote...actually voting for anyone this election is like throwing away a vote. :p

What do you think of Obadiah Shoher's views on the Middle East conflict? One can argue, of course, that Shoher is ultra-right, but his followers are far from being a marginal group. Also, he rejects Jewish moralistic reasoning - that's alone is highly unusual for the Israeli right. And he is very influential here in Israel. So what do you think?

uh, here's the site in question: Middle East conflict

But it does show that you actually believe your vote can count for something. Not voting for someone because its obvious someone else less qualified is going to win so I should vote for the lesser of the evils is saying that my vote counts for nothing.

Putting your vote where your mouth is what its all about. It doesn't matter if he wins or loses, at least you've voted for what you think is right.

That said, I will also likely be writing Ron Paul in.

But...our votes don't count...because we live in a REPUBLIC, NOT A DEMOCRACY, we vote for people to vote for us...and that bothers be...because popular vote doesn't make someone president...but whatever America...

Um, very rarely has there been a time that the popular vote did not choose the president. i.e., usually the guy (or hilary O_o) who gets picked by the people is elected. They're a shoo-in.

Actually, if memory serves, for the first term of both the past two presidents, they've lost the popular vote but won the electoral college.
