Oh ho-ho!! Very cool -- I know I'll be picking those up. =)Microsoft and Bungie confirmed today that the new maps Max Hoberman, the former Halo 2 and Halo 3 multiplayer lead and founder of Certain Affinity, is working on will be re-makes of two classic Halo: Combat Evolved maps. The maps will be available as premium downloadable content for Xbox and Xbox 360 on April 17 for $4 (320 Microsoft Points).

You probably don't care since you don't have Xbox Live.I'll be honest, I don't really care
The beta should be coming out for Halo 2, and that's the only game in the near future I see myself buying -- except Guild Wars, which I'll probably pick up tonight.

And you probably meant "the beta should be coming out for Halo 3", not Halo 2.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halo_2#Additional_mapsOn November 15, 2006, Bungie stated that they intended to release new Halo 2 multiplayer maps that would be accessible only to Xbox 360 users[45] and later announced the maps would be developed by Certain Affinity.[46] On March 30, 2007, Bungie announced the two new maps will be available on April 17, 2007 for $4. Unlike previously announced, Bungie's own Frank O'Connor confirmed that both XboxXbox 360 users would have access to the content.[47]
