Ummm first of all 40 is not old. My hubby plays and he is 45yrs. oops wasnt gonna tell his age... J/K ok ok we not using xbox, but they all play games. Besides my hubby and me my son and daughter play games.

Hello, I'm a Live! n00b

Howdy. I'm new to Xbox Live! I wondered if there was a group of Christians who played together online, and Google led me here. So, uh....howdy.

Please forgive me if I violated greeting protocol, as I didn't see a board or thread specificially designed for that purpose.

I can't really answer that question because the projector I play my Xbox on is out of comission at the moment :-/
 
You're going to buy the DVD? If you wait the maps will be free at the end of the summer. I suppose the "If you wait" part could be hard for some people though.
 
Yeah, I play on an Infocus projector. Our screen pulls down from the ceiling and is in 16:9 format. In 16:9, the screen is about 108" diag., and in native [4:3] it's somewhere around 80". I like it! :)

We have a ceiling mount for the projector, and my dad pulled it off the wall to take it to work. Unfortunately, the pins that held the projector in have fallen out while dad was gone, so we gotta find them before we can continue :P

But, it has an analog, s-video and VGA input, plus a VGA output for another monitor/projector. So I plug my Xbox in, pop in a DVD or game, and I'm good to go :)
 
80"? Even in four-player splitscreen each player has a larger space for viewing their portion of the screen then they would on your typical CRT. That's flat-out nuts.

So does ToJ have a Halo 2 clan? I'm really interested in the team (and clan) aspects of Halo 2. While the current people I've played with are fun, the activities they discuss...well, aren't the most appropriate in the world.

Yep, we have MTM 3 (x 2) so feel free to add 'ZONEBandit' & 'garabian' to your list. We are based in Australia so the time difference may be a bit of a problem.
