Moore is a moron.
Well of course it was edited to make Bush look worse. Sometimes they didn't have to try to hard tho.. I think Moore stretched the truth a lot, but he wasn't lying about anything.

I don't think he's a mormon, I'm sure I heard them say on his biography he was raised christian, but I might be wrong?

I don't think so. Did he hire a Bush look alike to say dumb things. Moore was pretty lucky because Bush did it without anyone telling him act like an idiot.
I was watching CNN today and the senate inteligence commitee said that they wouldn't have voted for a war if they knew all the evidence they have now. Which I think is none.

Quote[/b] (Kidan @ July 09 2004,2:32)]Mr. Moore is worse than biased, he uses deception to make his arguments.
Deception implies that Moore thinks he is wrong, which he certainly does not. Like I said, Moore merely bends the truth, albiet a lot, but he does not lie per se. A lot of what Moore said was based on speculation and intelligent, biased guesses, which did bother me. But overall I thought that the film served the function of at least shedding some light on areas of Bush previously unseen to the general public.

Do some research on Moore's movies and what was really done/said any search engine will get you started.. All of his movies with the exception of "Canadian Bacon", which was just plain goofy,
are slanted garbage, he twists, bends and manipulates the truth..You could say he fabricates the his own truths. But so does Pat Robinson, Larry King and all the other, blowing-my-own horn, mediia personalities out there....I call it plain old BS.
You can no longer trust anything you read, hear or see due to the media reporting the facts and applying their spin to them, its no longer news reporting, its some overcoffed anchorperson editorializing. I doubt anyone here remembers the days of Chet Huntley, David Brinkley, or Walter Cronkite actually reporting news as it happened and not putting their own spin on everything..but that was a time when honesty meant something and people actually stood by their word. When people were accountable for their actions, when accountability meant something...When a handshake and your words meant something. So if y'all really believe all you see, read and hear by the media and their ilk..I have a land deal for you. with plenty of water front..

but cnn has larry king and I like larry king. Plus I think everyone has their own agenda, its all about ratings. We should all watch Al Jazer. They are moving towards non biased reporting. I was watching an interview with the guy from control room and he was saying at the same time president bush puts down Al jazera, he meets with a spokesperson of Al jazeera, and uses it to brodcast speeches towards Iraqies and Afgans. Actually a member of Al Jazer meets with both Bush and Blair at least once a week. Also he and Tony Blair have both sat down and done interviews.

how do u really spell Al Jazeera?
And anyone know when control room is going to be screened in canada?

fox

cnn/bbc

I'm registered as independent, though it hardly matters, as SC's primaries are open. For the record, though, I generally vote Republican, due to the fact that the GOP candidate is generally in line with my beliefs on key issues...not because I actually like the party.

I'm a Green Syndicalist (aka Unionized Environmentalist Socialism), but I side with the Democrats.

Oh and Fox News is proven to be the most biased 'news' network, but all news is consevatively biased except the BBC.

On most political issues, I'm a centrist (this is my way of saying that I'm mroe right than both democrats and republicans

). However, on moral issues and the like, I am strongly conservative. Since that is more important to me than taxes or welfare, I indentify myself as republican if asked "democrat, republican, or independent", and support the republican party, because there's a MUCH greater likelihood that they will do what should be done.

"Proven", huh?

And England is the ONLY trustworthy country now, is it?

I don't believe a whit of what you just said, because it's so amazingly ridiculous.
