What class will you play?

Grimbeorn

Tribe of Judah Star Wars: The Old Republic Sith Em
All of the classes have now been revealed, so I was wondering what people's initial thoughts are on which class will be their primary class. My personal preference in previous Star Wars games has always been to go with the force-centered type. In this case, that would mean I will end up playing the Sith Inquisitor first. Gotta love force lightning :). I'll undoubtedly try all of them at some point, though.

looking like sith warrior and bounty hunter for me, maybe an inquisitor later.
add Darth Pungi and Pungi Fett to your friends lists

I'm going with the tank class, I'm always drawn to healers or tanks and this time its gonna be tank. I think that is the Imperial Agent?

From my understanding of the classes, I think either bounty hunter or sith warrior is more likely to be a tank. Those two classes wear heavy armor. However, it sounds like Bioware is trying to design it such that it won't be quite as much of a requirement to have a specific class/spec combo in every group. They don't want people to be forced to deal with the frustration of being unable to find a tank/healer.

Sith warrior is the tank, it is in the videos they have shown.

I don't see a real healer class, but it might be the one link I can't see. Inquisitor.

I am currently undecided.

That bounty hunter class has my name on it, Boba Fett is my favorite character in the Star Wars movies. Nothing beats fully armored, heavily armed assassins that fly around on jet packs. :D

think for dark I would like to try Sith Agent (aka Imperial Agent, but Sith Agent sounds cooler) Looks like they get to sneak in set bombs and then sneak out and snipe undercover. I'm always a sucker for sniping.

I'll be a BH. It'll prolly be an alt since I am planning on playing Republic for my main (at this point).

What is this at this point stuff?

You wanna wait and see before joining the darkside and being to actually love your wife?

Jedi code does not allow for love or passion. (at least in the game lore for this time frame)

Therefore, if you desire love or any emotion for that matter one should look to the Sith Lords.

From what I have read to this point, I am more in line with the Sith than the Jedi.

That certainly is one area where Sith have a better idea than Jedi. Emotion can lend far more motivation and strength to someone than a lack of emotion can. Sith typically don't use love as a motivator, but they don't forbid it either. Sith will happily use anything that increases their chance of victory, whereas the Jedi often cripple themselves by being unwilling to do what is required of them.

As Sidious said, "I can feel your anger. It gives you focus, makes you stronger."

From the Sith code: "Through passion, I gain strength."
