We need more admins.

I can minimize cs easy.. i havent had any problem with it so far.

I usually have a IE browser open and alt+tab it.
 
hmmm rizz do u have ur settings set so CS works in a window?
 
I put -windowed or -window in my launch options, or just set the options in the game, they usually stick. It's under video. You do lose sound when you go out of the window, but other than that it's seamless.

If it helps i have winXp pro running with a radeon 9800 pro and 1gb ram so theres no hardware issues with me running CS in the background.....

I dunno i can alt+tab out of any game i have that runs full screen. It might be part of the radeon quick resolution thing in the software..
 
Yeah I run XP Pro and a Fx5900 and have no problems with atl+tab except that sometimes it won't atl+tab to IM's only to the program etc.
 
I used to be able to alt+tab to other programs ... but now when I do it, it says hl.exe has crashed moments after I alt+tab.  I have same specs Rizz mentioned ... here's the full specs:

i can alt+tab anything cept CS but alot of ur computers are alot more advanced then mine even though its brand new
 
I usually hafta push the Windows Key to get the desktop to appear. I can alt-tab back and get back in game, though.

I still have skills when I run CS in windowed mode. In fact I couldn't get by with CS in normal mode. Helps me keep track of whats going on in the other monitor without the pain of minimizing and maximizing.
 
Don't like windowed CS either.. my kill/headshot rate goes to 0

I got a P4 2.0GHz and a 512 DDR RAM and a ATI Radeon 9000 pro (overclock) and still has no problem with runing CS im teh bak.
