FOOD!!!!!!!!

And my brother-in-law took advantage of my hearing loss and jumped on the bill before I really heard the server ask about it.
What a tank, drawin' that check aggro before you even knew it was comin'.

Edit: Can't say I've ever had Red Lobster. Needs changin' someday. :O

Red Lobster biscuits are incredible, and a very flexible menu. Prices fair for what you get and atmosphere.

I've enjoyed Red Lobster in the past. My wife developed a shell fish and sea salt allergy, so we've had to avoid Red Lobster for many years. They've recently expanded their menu, however, so perhaps we'll give them another try, making sure they aren't using sea salt, like so many restaurants seem to be going to.

So what sides go best with,

Steak

What kind do you prefer? Even baked steak and Salisbury steak are fair in this question.

Love quiche. We went through a quiche phase one summer, and I was constantly taking whatever fresh veggies were available in our garden and baking up quiches. Good, all purpose food for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. And the kids even like it.

Right after the birth of our daughter some friends made us meals for a while and one created this cashew, ginger, and winter squash quiche that was amazing. When we talk about it she laughs because it was something she just made up on the spot and has no recipe. She's a little embarrassed that she tried a completely random new food on us, but she is such an awesome cook I'd eat whatever she made.

On the more ordinary side, bacon and fresh spinach are always a good option. Sausage, green pepper and onion is another favorite. Works really well for having people over for brunch because you throw it in to bake, and then you're done, unlike a lot of other breakfast foods that you have to time or keep producing (which means time in the kitchen instead of with guests).

We had some friends over just after the new year and the menu was quiche and scones and a long Saturday morning conversation.

I've had "good quiche" and "bad quiche" alike. Seems that, whether of good or poor quality, I find myself generally indifferent toward it. Just not my style.

I like your style, though, Enok. :)

Let's go off the wall for this one. Something that sounds gross, but some people seem to love.

Chocolate covered ants.

Ok no one likes those, and I don't blame you, let's have some conventional candy:

Reeses Cups

Love them. But I've noticed that people say the name differently. Some say it "ree-sees" while others, myself among them, say "rees-is." How do you say it?

Used to like them as a kid.

Had some recently, and was disappointed. Not the way I remember them at all. The chocolate wasn't very chocolatey, and the peanut butter was barely identifiable as peanut butter.

That may be due to the fact that I tend to eat very dark chocolate now and peanut butter that is so real you have to stir the oil back into it when you first open the can.

Oh, and rees-is.

ok random food thought;
tonight we are having sausage and scrambled eggs topped with shredded cheese and wound up in a soft taco wrap
(onions and peppers are optional but i might pour some salsa in it lol)

onions and green peppers are never optional, a good mild salsa would complement it well.
