Around here it can be found in most food stores(maybe in the natural section) for less than $5 a bag. Only slightly more expensive than real cheese.

I haven't seen that before...interesting. I'm intrigued because it's not a soy-based substitute. I'm going to look for it next time I'm somewhere that might sell it. Not that pizza is health food, but I wonder how it goes putting a starchy root product on a starchy crust. :) Maybe if you put it on one of those cauliflower crust things it'd be more balanced, haha.

Ah...but if your pizza dough is gluten-free and you use a pesto or organic pizza sauce with onions and black olives (or any other veggies) there is not much starch at all.

True. I made a GF pizza crust one time. Gluten's not as big in our diet as some folks probably, but we're not GF. I just did it because I wanted to try something different.

IT WAS DISGUSTING. *lol*

People were like, of course it's going to taste different, you can't expect it to taste like a regular pizza crust. But I was thinking, I didn't want or expect it to taste the same. I just expected it to taste...not nasty. Haha. Maybe the recipe was bad, but I'm in no hurry to try GF pizza crust again.

Lol - we've found some frozen ones made by Rudi's that are not too bad. Fact of the matter, though, gluten-free just doesn't have the same taste, or even taste as good as regular dough.

oh wow... that's my favorite.. even if wife makes it vegan. It must made in a way that you have to eat it with a spoon.

waffle fries at Chic-Fil-A are the bestest ever, and they are fried in different oil than the chicken so they are VEGAN, which means I can enjoy with wife.

I haven't had boiled peanuts. I associate them with roadside vendors in the south. Until recently, I had only seen them on road trips to/from Florida (which is pretty rare for me, so I can't even remember where between Missouri and Florida I have seen them). Now there's a place just outside our neighborhood that has them once in a while. Haven't tried them yet though. I've heard they are kind of weird.

For a good chunk of my life (years ago), I did not like CFA waffle fries (or any waffle fries for that matter). Then one day my taste buds became not broken. And now they are awesome.

Also love sweet potato fries, yum.

The only times I've seen boiled peanuts is when I've been in Georgia visiting my in-laws at the road side vendors. CFA waffle fries are indeed the bomb but I don't like sweet potatoes in any shape or form.

The only time I have had CFA waffle fries was when I went to the Great Support CFA day. Normally I don't eat chicken in any form which looks, tastes, or smells like chiken. I consumed a chiken sammich and waffles fries that day. The sammich was surprisingly good, the fries not too bad. I have been trying to convince my better half to go back there ever since, but she will not go back because all they have is CHIKIN. Now for a real local type food-
ramps
There is even a ramps festival in WV.

I had to google it too. Do they smell bad on their own or is it how they are prepared? I can't imagine something like leeks being that bad compared to some other things. :P

Mostly the answer is yes to that. Both natural and cooking brings it out pretty well. The festival in WV has a certain air about it. Think wild onions intensified.
