Meredian, I think it's wise to work with what we've got here now. As long as we're being productive I think that's great, and that's exactly what SirThom's doing. Even if the chapter doesn't pick up (and it won't be because of the platform's age) we can at least enjoy playing the games with a handful of friends of ours.

SirThom, my roommate is very interested in the Xbox games, so I could talk with him if you like about helping you set up the chapter. I don't know where you'd want him, but he could help out with recruiting, or just helping you by co-leading the chapter.

Okay, cool! As long as he's in ToJ, I have absolutely no problem with it. I think the recruiter postition is most important for now.

Also, I don't think it's suffering because of it's age, just because we haven't had the chapter moving yet. :P Also, a lot of games we play on the Xbox chapter are playable on the Xbox 360.

I also disagree that age is an issue. I've got a 360 but I still use it to play Halo 2 all the time. So it's not like cross-platform can't happen.
I would take on a leadership role, but for me, it's a matter of time. I've got a few minutes here and there, but other than that I've been busy like whoa.

Would it be possible to perhaps form a Tribe of Judah Halo 2 clan?

Addtional Thoughts: I'd certainly be willing to help with a Halo 2 clan in terms of uhm...logistics?

Are you going to update the Chapter roster and the games we have available SirThom? I think a cool thing to add would be the time zones each player is in.

Halo 2

I'd really like to see a Tribe of Judah Halo 2 clan, but I don't know how many people interested in the Xbox Chapter play Halo 2.

As for informal matches, if anyone plays Halo 2 and would like to play some matches, let me know! I'm always game for a few rounds of Halo 2 and it'd be nice to play with people who aren't interested in seeing how many racial epithets they can string together before taking another breath. I'm usually not on Xbox Live! unless I get on to play my friends, so please let me know through AIM (IceBladePOD) or MSN (IceBladePOD@Lycos.com). Xbox Live! tag is the same.

Call of duty 2, i got the premium package but i cant figure out how to hook it up to my high def tv so ive been playing on regular i must say xbox live is pretty amazing on it.

Can you use xbox games on it?

Yup, a good deal of Xbox games are compatible with Xbox 360.

if you've got the RGB cable that comes with it then you should be able to hook it to your RGB inputs or (Cb,CR,Pb or something like that) to your hdtv.
after you hook it up then you'll have to go into your system console and choose either widescreen or normal and 480P or 720P or 1080i and that's after you flip the switch on the output end of the xbox cable. it where it attaches to your xbox. it says tv or hdtv. you can switch it after you get into the system menu.
Also if you have a surround sound system hook it up using a fiber optic cable or tos link cable. it goes where the hdtv switch is.

I have a xbox 360 too. I have COD2 too. I also have Burnout-Revenge. Burnout is sweet on my 10ft diag movie projector.

I can't go online with my xbox because I don't have broadband.

I try to play with a group of my friends online every Thursday evening between 7-10pm eastern. Make sure I'm added to your list and shoot me a message and I'll invite you to my game. The guy that organizes the matches is a Christian, but know that a lot of the guys that play at this time aren't Christians. Still, it's a group of mature gamers, so the attitudes are good and they games are usually safe. Every once in a while I'll hear someone slip out a bad word, but that seems pretty rare from the core group.

For an official night and match, I have no problem is someone would like to organize and run it on a regular basis as long as you make a formal request (PM or email) and have it approved by myself, SirThom, and/or Tek. If someone wants to run it, they would be responsible for planning and organizing regular gametimes. With my busy schedule right now, I really can't commit to anything though. I'm a big time gamer, but games have had to take a major backseat to the rest of my life recently.

Hey, I have a 10' projector, too! I've got an Infocus X1 -- how about you? :P

My projector is homemade. I got the plans from lumenlab.com

Here is a picture of Burnout Revenge on it using an xbox 360 VGA cable.

Click it to enlarge!!!

Here is my LL Plog.

A couple more clickable.
They're not the best. My camera battery's were gone. So they are a little blurry. COD2 has got snow and smoke in the air.
