wow type o in the faq LOL they fixed it. being competitive in CS means i need constant 100 fps to maintain my game going. It can't notice much difference if its the same constant, but it can notice fluctuation. Plus lower fps means changes in recoil control and + many other things.

I've given up pubbing few weeks ago.. getting banned from 90% of the west coast servers are not fun. GFC server's lower rates aren't suitable for me and neither are the pings. 170 average ping on HSC's machine, scratch that out, and even on the Talon's "westcoast one" i get 70 ping.. :/ well...

I like the point of view from HSC's blog, but for me personally I think Frame rates are an important factor because from CS experience if my FPS fluctuates alot, it makes it nearly impossible to play consistantly, and price is a huge matter also for me. Also, i believe 7800 series do Not support...

Check the videocard drivers, ati has lots of bugs every version, look around and pick the right one. I think 1024x768 has some display corruption for the newest one, if i'm not mistaken.

Most of the time, with overclocking it draws alot of voltage from the psu, thats why it's life span is shortened. However, people with mid/low end systems would rather make out the best of things, and thats hwy they oc the system. My advice is, do not overclock without an expert or a veteran...

I think merging ur partition may not have been a good idea.. It may have corrupted the boot sector of the hard drive in the process of combining it only through boot.ini. Your only chance would be complete format, since you have a bootable Windows XP disk, use it and completely format.

Copper is widely used because it's cheap, not expensive.. Like HSC said, it's high conductivity serves as best in heat sink.
