It's art, man. Or at least modern art. It's a statement about the revealed fragility of technology in the face of nature's awesome power.

And it's also a mangled AOL CD hanging on a tree.

I just don't see it. At least you did something constructive with an AOL CD!

Hehe, I use an Earthlink dialup CD as a coaster. :D
 
I liked it! I wasn't confused by it or the fact that Tek felt the need to post it at all! [/sarcasm] BTW Tek, why did you post it? I lied, I'm sort of confused.
 
Gazing upon this creation, I could hardly stop looking. (like a train wreck) It appears, at first glance to be one of Picasso's firsts. With a closer view, you can see the Spiritual implications of man being born into sin, and Jesus coming as our Saviour. Putting it all together, I think there was great purpose for the posting of this magnificent piece of art, one of the best falling into this category that I have truly ever seen...making me end my day laughing hysterically! :) The responses are just as priceless as the art.
 
BTW Tek, why did you post it? I lied, I'm sort of confused.

I wanted to share the <3 of modern art.

That, and I wanted you all to see how I relieved the stress that the job search brings. See? Constructive!
 
What kind of modern art, exactly?

I can make out some words, symbols and picture-dialog from the red/black scribbles of a pen or marker.

Middle bottom of CD: Looks like you put, Jon or 2on in handwriting.
Left middle of CD: Looks like you put, 2AJ or ZAJ in captials.
Left/Bottom of CD: Looks like you put, a Star and 3 two's.
Top/Right of CD: Looks like you put a shot or shooting Tie Fighter from Star Wars.
Bottom close to Left of CD: Looks like you put a Dragon opening its mouth, or a thing with large teeth.


Alot of X's and 2's(Two's), 2's(Two's) must be an inspiration or obession. :cool:

If you play the CD backwards it says, "I Love Ember," and "I need a job!" If you put your art on display on the other side of the trees for public display, everyone will know that you are in need of employment:)

EDIT: D'oh, didn't notice the second page where you claim that your dad doesn't work for AOL.
