Plantronics .audio 90's pretty good quality for it's low price, but becareful, it's not that durable. Treat it with care. Since its budget, i wouldn't recommend this but if you have the cash, Sennheiser PC150's are great.

any board with onboard video i believe 99.9% of the time (99.9 cuz incase there might be an exception) has a bios setting for onboard pci/agp device setting where u can turn it off/on :>

it says soundcard is unplugged or manually removed, and aborts the installation. Any other suggestions? :S

the thing is, it says its a PCI device, not an audio device, I can't install any drivers on it. First time encountering this, should i reformat the entire system again and hope for the best? motherboard problem? bios update? help!

I was finalizing stuff and I ran into another problem. For some reason Windows cannot initialize the soundcard (onboard). I've checked the bios and it's enabled, theres no other soundcard installed. Any suggestions? :s

Supposing theres no pata emulation in the bios, then will I have problems installing an OS besides Linux or Windows xp Sp1, cuz i only have windows xp non-sp, and I don't know where I buried the linux cd and I'm still a nub in linux.
