Another problem..

I was finalizing stuff and I ran into another problem. For some reason Windows cannot initialize the soundcard (onboard). I've checked the bios and it's enabled, theres no other soundcard installed. Any suggestions? :s

the thing is, it says its a PCI device, not an audio device, I can't install any drivers on it. First time encountering this, should i reformat the entire system again and hope for the best? motherboard problem? bios update?

help!

it says soundcard is unplugged or manually removed, and aborts the installation. Any other suggestions? :S

remove the pci device it is finding for the sound card..then when windows detects the card point hte wizard at hte sound driver files manually. if that doesn't work..shut off hte onboard sound and buy a sound card. You can get a SB live for under 30 bucks now..:) It will sound better and be less hassle..:)
Tried that, didn't work. Went and got a SB live for 24bux XD thanks for the help.
