Sorry guys, I have been out of town the last couple of days.
I think we should keep the current world we have, border and all, as the spawn world, and use the new Frontier world as the 1.9 world, as it is now. That gives us the ability to keep everything we have, plus get to see the new stuff.
Everyone ok with that? I have seen the responses here, but should I throw up a vote, to make it official? Majority wins?
Hey, I literally just saw you yesterday. You didn't even say hi. So, I feel stiffed. If you are going that route, Majority has the reset.
3 for the rest, 2 either way, and only 1 against. With your vote that is 3/2/2.
I think I am gonna play some where else. One with more active people.

While I do understand this, this has been the problem we have had for a really long time. We aren't that big. People come in, play for a bit, get bored that no one is ever on, and leave.I think I am gonna play some where else. One with more active people.
Well I am on the server right now.
1 thing I see often is that we just spread out do our own thing with out doing anything with each other. We need to encourage actual community builds and events.
Another issue I see is we do not have regular reliable staff.
There is no encouragement of Longevity. People are in and then just out.
One of the biggest causes that makes me take big breaks is no activity. There is no community goals. If you go on you tube and you look at some of the more popular things people watch, one of them is Hermit Craft. A bunch of people get together on worlds that revolve and reset, and they build new things with each other and for themselves. One person saves the map files and passes them out to those who want them but as a group they move on and build better things. They challenge each other on what to build and how to do it.
There is no advertisement that this place exists. If you google "christian Minecraft servers" we not even on the first page. No one really knows about us.
I guess I would say my biggest complaint is no one does anything together.
What are you thoughts on all that?
What's the point of having a wide open world if we don't spread out and use it? As for the community build idea, no one else seems to have an issue with folks not participating.
As for the "regular reliable staff", it is completely unreasonable to expect the server admins to be on-call 24/7. This is after-all just a game. These folks have real lives to attend to like the rest of us and real life comes before this game.
Regarding the communities such as Hermit Craft, if that's the type of server you want, please join them. Don't expect everyone on our server to conform to what you want. And if you are about to say that's not what you're doing, the fact that you keep bringing it up suggests otherwise. If the folks on our server want to participate in a joint effort, they will, if they don't want to participate, well, that's OK too. Please, please, please stop bringing it up.
In the case of the "no advertisement", feel free to advertise. Don't expect someone else to do it if you're not willing to do it yourself.
Just my thoughts and opinions.
