I have nVidia and Windows 7 and I can't get StarCraft to work

I'm running Win7 and using ATI Radeon HD 4850 and Starcraft runs just fine except for the initial loading screen (which is all sorts of messed up). Once I get to the menu everything is normal, and games play without any hitch at all.

[Edit] Nevermind, just updated SC and ran into the same problems everyone else had. There's a great fix for it though, and that is just create a batch file that kills explorer, runs SC, then restart Explorer upon exiting the game. The code looks like this:

taskkill /f /IM explorer.exe
"C:\Program Files (x86)\StarCraft\StarCraft.exe" <----Replace this line with wherever the StarCraft.exe is located
pause
start explorer.exe


Then save it as a .bat

Run this file and enjoy. The great thing about this is you don't have to worry about using any compatibility settings.

Actually though, glad I upgraded to Win 7. Medal of Honor:Airborne wouldn't work on Vista, but it runs fine now. And it's very fun. Melee a Nazi with a grenade in your hand and his ragdoll flies 15 feet away. American soldiers eat their spinach. >_>

Just got Window 7 Ultimate at the campus bookstore - $15. Thank goodness for student discounts. Now here's hoping that attempting to upgrade doesn't wreck my pc for Thanksgiving break.

Wow, no kidding! I thought I got a decent deal at $50 per license for Windows 7 Home Premium.

Got myself Windows 7 Home Premium Retail for $268AU. I've got two partitions on my 320Gig Hard drive, one using Win XP home and the other one using windows 7. I'm still in the process of figuring out how to use windows 7 properly.
