"Seperation of Church and State" was a Supreme Court decision. Unless the Supremes decide differently, that is the interpretation of the "No Establishment" clause of the Bill of Rights.[b said:Quote[/b] (www_rlxc_com @ Oct. 07 2003,9:01)] Separation of Church and State is nowhere in our Constitution, and there is NO law that states "Separation of Church and State", it is more or less made up in our minds. I am for a Christian government. I am not really for illegalization of other religions, but I would be for teaching against them in school.
Movements like the Homosexual Agenda, Feminist movement, and many "equality" movements are only designed to give them special rights. And to degrade the moral foundation this country was founded on.
What the heck is wrong with beer? Just beer or wine too? (I am assuming that it would include spirits)[b said:Quote[/b] (mrpopdrinker @ Oct. 07 2003,3:26)]BigJ assuming you are asking everyone I would lean more towerd pentacostal/full gospel. And only the fundamentel things would be enforced so not everyone would have to believe in Yeshua but I certainly wouldent let anyone drink beer if I was running the show, and no gay marriges and so forth. But as I said this is not a theocracy although personall conviction sould influence a democracy. Everyone having the same rights? Well I wouldent allow gays to marry it is wrong and as was pointed out if everyone where gay the human race would cease to exist.
Just a point...but you do realize that that is Islam's goal too?[b said:Quote[/b] (www_rlxc_com @ Oct. 08 2003,1:33)]My argument was in a worldly sence. To be able to accomplish thing, to help train our children to be God fearing people. To fullfill the great committion of having every nation on earth bow down to our great God.
Hey, I am very much in favor of you having the right to pray in school. The problem is...I do have a problem with you forcing me to pray.[b said:Quote[/b] (mrpopdrinker @ Oct. 07 2003,3:39)]It is quite sickening to me how gays get all these things and its ok but yet we get nothing. We offend them it is bad they offend us we are told to shut up. I thought this was about equal rights. What it is is about taking away rights from the rest of us. But we must fight the good fight of faith a stand firm! To those that say it is a free country so they should be able to do these things I say this. What freedom is is the power to do what is right or in another way freedom is to do what you ought not what you want.
rofl! good one Cheryll! Am I the only one who caught that?[b said:Quote[/b] (CCGR @ Oct. 08 2003,3:13)]as long as there are tests there will always be prayer, but I agree that it should not be forced...but on the other hand it should not be with held either.
I dont believe in drinking it destroys families. I would have no problem with them taking over. So long as they did not make it to where everyone would have to worship and believe as they do. Note I said I would only enforce fundamental beliefes if it where up to me.[b said:Quote[/b] (Big J @ Oct. 08 2003,2:57)]What the heck is wrong with beer? Just beer or wine too? (and yes, I was asking everybody)
Interesting...so how would you feel if the Roman Catholics took over and made it a theocracy? (yes, I am serious.)

As Christians computers aren't a requirement either, neither is the internet or any of this modern technology. Neither is the car you get into everyday. Neither is ANY beverage but water. I'll give this statement and the whole alcohol is evil arguement creedence when you eliminate all things that truly aren't needed from your life.[b said:Quote[/b] (mrpopdrinker @ Oct. 08 2003,9:57)]Drinking leads to alcoholism. So i figure destroy the root and the problem goes away. We are anointed by God and filled with the Spirit of God I assure you we as christians do not need such things.
