[...] and
Mario Party 8 is launching March 5, 2007.
I've played a few Mario Party games and, while they're fairly fun, winning or losing relies far too much on random chance. This, of course, means that Elihu, my best friend and better known in the World of Warcraft community as Fjorboug of Redeemed, wins.
Every time.
But I may still see if I can score a cheap rental or buy it used in a year or two.
Still have mixed feelings on this one. I still hold that Sonic 2 was the best game in the series; Sonic didn't make the transition to 3D as well as other famous video game icons that shall remain unnamed.
I wish it didn't cost like $8 to rent a Wii game at Blockbuster. Blockbuster ftl. Here's hoping BB goes bankrupt or bought out by Netflix.
Rock on. If they release a less expensive edition that doesn't come packaged with a Wii Remote, I'll likely pick this one up (if only for the Billiards game). Push comes to shove, I can buy the game with Remote and sell the Remote.
[...] and recent releases such as
WarioWare: Smooth Moves
I just wanted to pipe in and say: WarioWare: Smooth Moves
rocks. I bought it two days after release and loved it. My only complaint is that the game doesn't include more simultaneous (more than one player playing at a time) multiplayer modes.
[...] us Wii owners aren't getting it too bad. =)
And don't forget about the recently released News Channel, which also rocks. w00!
PS. Mario Kart 64 is
coming to Virtual Console on Monday.
I literally squealed with delight when I read this. No lie. My wife was in the other room and can confirm.
