Why were we created?

I do believe that pre-fall of man, we were not bound by our understanding of physical laws. Nor do I believe our future includes being bound by these laws either. I also believe that we are currently bound to these laws for reasons beyond our understanding, yet we have the ability to break free from them, although an extremely rare occourance that could only be classified as a miracle because a> nobody would have enough forethought to measure the phenomina when it happened and b> only miracles can break the physical laws we are bound to.

Why should He? Because WE ARE PHYSICAL BEINGS WHO CAN ONLY PERCEIVE WHAT OUR SENSES TELL US.

That is why.

Besides, it's not like God doesn't have a history of literally speaking to Humans in the Old Testament, right?

So what is this metaphysical communication like? How/why do you attribute it to God? If it's metaphysical, or supernatural, how can a physical creature understand it?

Let me try and rephrase what Eon said. Why would God create a purely physical creation that is bound by physical laws, that is unable to perceive anything beyond its physical senses, that was meant to rely on logic and reason in its physical brain, AND THEN require it to base its eternal existence on the supernatural?

Oh because we are a three part being,

1.Spirit (The breathe of God) (His spirit in us)

2.Soul (What was create combining God’s Spirit(Breathe) with the Clay

3.Flesh (What god create to host out Spirit and Soul)

We were made to exist with all three, and to perceive both the phyical and spiritual. In the NT (I Believe) it says man will master either the flesh or the spirit but not both. We were created to see the spiritual realities around us, and to function with in both realms.

Christ did it, the OT prophets did it, and Paul did it!

Spirit to spirit communication.

How do I know is God?
BY Testing it against scripture.

How can a physical creature understand it?
By prayer and obedience to GOD would be the best way, unfoutunatly there are laws to the spiritual realities as there are laws for the physical one.

And like anything with laws, they can be learned!

I am sorry Eon, am I missing your point? Being a Christian doesn’t give you these three distinct parts all humans have them. God already designed it this way in the beginning of time itself

You can call them what you want and change the definition all you want but they are there and they are constant and they have their assigned roles. So Whether you believe or not, they exist, weather you use them to master the flesh or the Spirit they choice is yours. And like gravity you can not change what they are for.

You spirit is the very breath of God

Your soul is the union of your Spirit and flesh.

Your flesh is the body he created
