So did slaves, that doesn't mean that there wasn't a problem concerning equality.

You do realize that one of the greater opponents to the Women's Suffrage movement was Christianity, right? They cited the same verses we've gone over as evidence that women should not be afforded the same rights as men.

How much different would your life be if Christianity had had its way?

Are you willing to give up those social, economic and political rights?

Look at the places in the Middle East where religion has denied women equality. Is THAT what you would rather have?
