I has not dun it. Wai? Ur doin it rong.

I never pre-order. Never will. :P Could turn out to be a real turd of a game. Who knows. Not sure if I could even run it on my machine. :O Would have to try it out before buying. :(

One thing I can say is that it's not a resource hog. If you're running TF2 well, you should have no problems. I'm running it on the same PC that I was playing WoW on, a self-built system that's 2-3 years old: single core CPU, 7800gt video card, etc. The only thing I've done to it was my recent upgrade from 1GB RAM to 3GB. Even without the final performance optimizations in game, it runs great for me.

So I wouldn't anticipate that performance will be an issue. EA Mythic have stated that they want it to be accessible to most anyone, not just those who dropped 5 grand on a rig for Crysis.

That makes sense and my wife would take that method every time as she watches our finances like a hawk.

BUT there are certain games that you can just tell are gonna rock and you want in from the ground floor. The extras you get in WAR from pre ordering are so MASSIVE and AWESOME that there is no way I would pass it up. so many goodies in game and out of game in the collector's edition. Mythic knows how to produce quality stuff.

Also, if you know ppl in the beta and they love it in a pre-release form, you can be pretty confident it wont all of the sudden become a turd.

It's so good he ordered TWO copies!

i dont like the game play style of this game to say i would go and preorder it or buy it for that matter. only game i have preordered in the past 2 years is Persona 3 FES because it was a great game when it was first released and the fes version had extra lvls to play and new extras.

That is why I pre-ordered the Collector's Edition of Warhammer.

Too many extra goodies for me and I believe in the game.

Warhammer-

-three extra days before launch
-extra quests inside game including extra items
-extra areas, possibly even an entire dugeon
-some silly little statue that apparently is really cool for people who like little statues.
-some cartoon magazine thingy that again is really cool for people who like those things.
-oh and you get a key to the open beta before game launch to try out the coolio stuff

here is the "official" link if you don't like my translation

Which place should one Preorder from? I'm not sure which damage type ring would be the best... :O

I know it's PVE only, but which ring (elemental, physical and spiritual it seems) would be the better choice?

I doubt it will really make a difference. Just a matter of what mobs have more resistance to what, probably. I wouldn't worry too much about what flavor you get.
