Tree just showed me a video of a guy 5-boxing shaman in PvP and destroying people.
This makes me consider dual-boxing War from the beginning. I mean why lvl 1 bright wizard to 40 when I can lvl 2 bright wizards at the same time!! bwahahahahhahah

Oh wait, there is the wife who monitors our financials...hmm 2 accounts and 2 gaming rigs...how can I misdirect her attention from those details?

I watched some HI REZ videos of WAR beta last night and... I'm not impressed. The graphics are great but the combat seams really clunky and the animations aren't very... fluid? I like a lot of their ideas and it sounds cool when they talk about it but seeing it in action isn't encouraging (to me at least). At this point I'll need to see some serious changes to convince me to swap MMO's.

Graphics and animations are supposedly still a work in progress. However, you've got to follow your own preferences. :)

Those videos did not work for me.

And (not to sound harsh) but I don't understand how you can form an opinion on a product when it is incomplete.

I can see how you'd say that but nearly everyone does it. Just because I haven't seen the entire game doesn't mean I can't make a judgement based on what I've seen so far.
When you watch a movie preview you can say "that looks lame" even though you haven't seen the movie right? It's the same here, based on what I've seen I'm not impressed.
That's not to say that my mind won't change but as of right now I'm not diggin it.

I just pre-ordered the game this past weekend. I did it at a GameStop at Penn State so I have an excuse to go up there and visit people while I'm there. ^^;;

i knew i wanted an htc touch diamond before it ever made it in the wild, or that crazy curved monitor from alienware which we're still waiting on. further, i know i want a mc'ds DQPC before it's ever complete, assuming they don't mess up and put onions on it...

therefore...opinion formed...i wantz them

besides, i need to further nerd out the house with more collector's edition cases

First you NDA breaker!!!

It is known to many that the graphics engine in Warhammer is not even a concern in Beta at the moment. They have told beta testers time and again, do not worry about graphics. We have them turned down (some have even been known to say all the way down) so you as testers will focus on game play and keep lag to a minimum.

I also have to agree when I watched video of the closed beta I was not impressed. That is no longer the case. No matter how good the video it cannot capture the feel of a game.

I personally prefer the look and feel of Warhammer to World of Warcraft. WoW always felt very cartoonish and very dumbed down. Most classes could go thru an entire raid and push two or three buttons. zzzzzzzzzzzzz

I can only encourage you to not pass judgement based on recorded game play. It does not do the game justice.
