Because cursing is more than a set of words.
It's the intention behind those. The Bible teaches us that our thoughts are just as important as our actions. If we consider adultery, we're guilty of adultery.
The same applies to cursing, if we consider cursing, but use a 'clean' word, then we're still cursing. You can use ANY word as an expletitive and it's just as bad as a regular curse word, because you are still committing the sin.
