I try not to boast as a rule. Sometimes, that's harder than others. Right now, I'm not even trying to stop myself. I'm too excited.
See... I wrote this little piece on competitive fighting games on my gaming blog. But, just to get a little more exposure, I decided to post it to Bitmob, a gaming news site for aspiring game journalists.
This morning, when checking my email, I saw something totally awesome...
I made the front page!
Hyped, I started telling people I knew. Despite writing for game sites for years, it's not every day I make it on a site as large as Bitmob. So, it was pretty sweet.
Then I got to thinking, "hey... I doubt it'd fly, but maybe I can get on the front page of Shoryuken, too." Shoryuken is the foremost site for competitive fighting game enthusiasts, a site I've been a small part of for a couple years now. So, I sent an email to their newsfeed manager on my way to class this morning. When I got out? Yep.
I made the front page there, too! > 9000
 > 9000
Will any of this translate to a job somewhere as a game journalist? Probably not. But I'm incredibly stoked, so I thought I'd share.
Grace and peace,
-Kenny

I only played up to Super Street Fighter II and that was the best, imo. I think that's about 16-17 years ago when I last played. I remember my Sega Genesis was centered around this game too because it was so fun. Favorite characters: Guile and Dee Jay. Nowadays I have lost all interest in the genre. But Super Street Fighter II was the best and Mortal Kombat will never compare to it.
