Oblivion...

Honestly I am really really surprised Oblivion isn't rated M. I actually thought it was for a few days until a friend pointed out the bit T on the box! I'm just really surprised that they can get away with all the blood and the "do whatever you want" stuff and still have it be rated T. They must have used speechcraft and then bribed ESRB until they gave it to them :).

I agree there is a lot of blood in it...but I don't see how the 'do what ever you want' stuff would affect the rating.
 
That tweak guide tells you how to put more blood in it. If you changed those settings properly, though, you could eliminate blood entirely.

Because you can kill old ladies, and officers of the law, and innocent townsfolk! It's EEEEEVIL! Plus some of the quests are kind of dark or have some slightly disturbing imagery usually reserved for M rated games. And usually blood is reserved for M rated games, especially blood that goes on walls, floor, and weaponry.
