Unfortunately, no. My wife and I plan to learn the language. We'd like to visit Japan one day and speak and read Japanese well enough to make the trip without a translator.I saw the clock ticking on the site, and I immediately knew what it meant...

Single game? Now Tek... my question is...
Chrono vs. Final Fantasy?
I don't know Tek I agree with a decent amount of itI understand my views on RPGs aren't very popular, though, so don't take my viewpoints as common.
Agree. Chrono Trigger was most probably the best made rpg ever. FF4 and Chrono is just a closer race for me.Single game?
Chrono Trigger. Hands down.
I agree about FF7 but prefer FF4 to 6. Although the characters in 6 are very good I found trouble relating or "role playing" a single individual. I felt more like I was watching a story unfold. It is probably because the character followed switched frequently and the 2 main ones were women. I didn't have that problem in FF4. Of course that only makes 6 come in under 4 for me, it's still a excellent game. Random encounters FTL.The Final Fantasy series started to tank after VI, even though VII is arguably the most popular game in the series. VII was a beautiful game with an excellent battle system, but when it comes to characters and story, VI wins hands down.
There are some heart-rending moments in FFVI, but I can't stomach random encounters since discovering RPG gameplay can work--and thrive--without them.
Chrono Cross was a fantastic game that would have received far more love had it not had "Chrono" in the title. I don't think anything could have lived up to the expectations gamers had set for a sequel to Chrono Trigger.
I don't think there's any series out there with more than a few titles without a few duds. Final Fantasy VIII, Legend of Mana, Grandia III--they all represent low points in their respective series. Sorry, Squall fans.
Only 2 days? That's fantastic. So I guess the US is getting CT before Japan. 2 days earlier, but still. Whee!

Welcome to our world with nearly every other game...I found trouble relating or "role playing" a single individual. I felt more like I was watching a story unfold. It is probably because the character followed switched frequently and the 2 main ones were women.
