Mmorpg - which is the best?

The founder of www.malvision.com was a very popular DAoC player and made a ton of great videos from the game. He was the founder of a guild by the name of "Wretched" on the Guinevere Server, it eventually fell apart because I guess most of their members went to PlanetSide.

I havent played PlanetSide yet but I am sure that I will eventually give it a try. Dont quite think it will be enough to get me away from DAoC though

All of em suck right now. I'm a 3 year vet of UO...quit right before Age of Shadows came out. Trammel mortally wounded UO. AoS delivered the killing blow. Even with taking out stat loss (I was a PK) its still horrible I hear from my still-playing freinds due to 3 second battles. Duels are non-existent anymore. PvP was what I played UO for.

All of the other MMORPGs have weird graphics, nasty controls, and boring combat and PvP. I'd LOVE to find a new MMORPG, but...nothing will ever replace old-school Ultima Online =\

Horizons looks good, but it's pulling a Shadowbane..Shadowbane looked like it was gonna be awesome, until it went into beta for 2 years *sigh*

Wierd graphics? Explain.

Nasty controls? Given that you can change how everything is done yourself, this is not a reasonable opinion.

Boring combat? Explain how combat on any other game is boring compared to UO.
 
UO was nothing but a gank-fest.  It was who could macro there character up the highest the fastest and group-kill everyone in there path.

Shadowbane is what UO was meant to be.  You had nothing bad to say about it but the 2 year beta.  Give it a shot, I bet it will change your mind.

Shark, do you just enjoy being an all around jerk? It seems everytime you post you got something tacky to say about someone or something.

Friend sent me this link it has a WoW preview on a EverQuest guild site and it is pretty indeapth apparently with E3 here lots of new info is out, Night Elf was anounced as a 5th playable race and you will be able to play as evil races. Bunch of new classes and 3 modes of travel beyond the player owned horses and wolves differing for each race. You can now ride on Boats, Flying Gryphans, and Goblin Zeplins.
