Well, for one, blizzard would have to have awesomeness to be blinded to... Well, I cant exactly just pick a favorite, Im too crazy for that. It wasnt long ago that I finally decided on a favorite color, and that took me years. Ill probably just end up picking sierra, and that includes dynamix.

I for one still like Diablo 2. But I just think there are better games out there than warcraft and starcraft.
I personally have no favorite company, only favorite games. For instance, I loved Earthsiege 2, that was a sierra game. But I hated arcanum, another sierra title.

I think if I had to choose, it'd be Ravensoft. Only game I don't like by them is Elite Force. It's just a quake mod, nothing special. Jedi Outcast and SoF2 were a LOT more unique than EF. Both of those are quality FPS games.

Sierra is a good choice. They have been around forever and have made some good titles. I remember Sierra back when Liesure Suit Larry was the latest and greatest game around.
However, my choice would have to be Sony Online Entertainment or LucasArts. They are dominating the RPG (EverQuest, SWG) markets and maybe even the FPS market (JKII, Planetside) with some really good games.
EQ did suck with some serious problems, but it was/is still good enough to keep over 400,000 subscribers still paying to play. Personally I quit cause it wore me out with the endless timesinks it contained, but they are continually adding more to the game to keep ppl in.
I'm not an EQ champion by any means, even though I did have a lvl 65 Gnome Enchanter
You don't have to tell me how much Verant sux, I know.
Also Exo, Blizzard is good if you are into RTS games. But if you want a good FPS or RPG then they have nothing worthwhile to offer. That is why they aren't one of my favorite gaming companies. NOTE: I will probably revise that statement after WoW comes out. But then again, I may not, cause I'll probably be busy playing SWG

My favorite hmm...I like to thank Bioware for bringing the RPG back to computers. Baldur's Gate did single-handedly revive that genre. But favorite...my favorite is whoever makes the most involving game at the moment. Long-term favorites don't happen. And to boot, I never played any of blizzard's games too much. I played some D2 but no starcraft or warcraft. RTS genre is so boring to me...I tried it but...I can't get into them.

I could never get into any of Biowares RPG i did beat the orignal Baldurs gate but that was with lots of pushing from my cousin. I just cant get into the AD&D system and everything moves to slow for me.

The only reason I like blizzard the most is i feel they have never made a bad game, they are all enertaining and either make a revolutionary title (starcraft) or refine the genre adding new elements (WC3). The only thing i see wrong with them is they have not made a new game series in like 4 years but hopefully after e3 that will change. But if they delay d2 1.10 one more time i think im going to hate them.

umm hate to break it to you but Blizzard revived RPGS with Diablo one that was released about a yr before BG ( cuz everyone was like BG has sooo much better graphics ) well duh its released a yr latter), and most ppl that played Diablo went to play BG and it got maybe a little more popular becuase of all the diablo 1 addicts plus the better graphics thatn Diablo 1

Diablo 1 and 2 do not fall under RPG in my book. They are click-fests that dont have the story elements of true RPGs.

I've read the manual and it sounds kinda cool. I just haven't played it yet. You can't go wrong with the SW space sims (X-Wing, Tie Fighter, and X-Wing Alliance). Be careful with X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter. That was geared more towards MP. X-Wing Alliance was more like what XvT should have been.
I have Descent II, but have only played for about 30 minutes. I liked it, but I must have been in the middle of another game and never got back to it.

If you need ANYTHING to convince you to play Planetside, this site will give it to you. The movies here are top notch and even make me get that intense feeling of combat. Excellent movies, this guy should be paid for this. His movies should be the official trailers, which hardly showed this kinda action.
