Generalizations are NEVER true (lol). Yes we live in a fallen and broken world. I believe America has plenty of faults but I think Dorkelf has a very valid point. Can you honestly point to another country either past or present that as a whole is doing or has done a better job than the US is doing currently? How many Americans are risking life and limb to get out of this country verses how many people die every day trying to get in illegally is a perfect example of the world view of our country. Yes RUDE Americans are looked upon poorly in other parts of the world but having traveled to other countries I can tell you that we are not HATED as a general rule in most countries, but rather when we fall into the stereotypical Rude American then they rightly dislike and even possibly hate us. America in general is a very gracious and giving country (liberals and republicans have both seen to that).

Remember just a few days ago when our leader asked us to think and act more christ-like. We need to keep up these intense and provocative conversations and keep them free of the derisive barbs.

Let me start by saying that America is the greatest country on this earth. We are the richest nation in the world which makes it our obligation to help out other countries in need. No other country in the world even comes close to the generosity and aid that we have provided to other poverty stricken nations and their people. We have a strong leader who prays to God about how he should lead this country and he's taken a great popularity hit by obeying. We will be constantly under attack by Satan and any country whose people do not believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Don't let the problems of the world and the hidden thruths that the media doesn't report jade your view of our great nation.

Bravo. We also take far better care of our downtrodden. Even the homeless live better than the poor elsewhere, and far better than street people in most of the rest of the world.
