Generalizations are NEVER true (lol). Yes we live in a fallen and broken world. I believe America has plenty of faults but I think Dorkelf has a very valid point. Can you honestly point to another country either past or present that as a whole is doing or has done a better job than the US is doing currently? How many Americans are risking life and limb to get out of this country verses how many people die every day trying to get in illegally is a perfect example of the world view of our country. Yes RUDE Americans are looked upon poorly in other parts of the world but having traveled to other countries I can tell you that we are not HATED as a general rule in most countries, but rather when we fall into the stereotypical Rude American then they rightly dislike and even possibly hate us. America in general is a very gracious and giving country (liberals and republicans have both seen to that).
Remember just a few days ago when our leader asked us to think and act more christ-like. We need to keep up these intense and provocative conversations and keep them free of the derisive barbs.
