I've been playing computer games since I was 3 (Apple ][c+)... so roughly 26 years. Hm. I suppose I was banging on the keys more than playing... but probably actually started playing games like DigDug or PacMan around 3-4 yrs old.

I'm not sure what version the Mac was, but this is how it looked like.

I think my first experience with gaming was skifree on Win 3.1 If I remember correctly.

I think we need to re-make the poll with more accurate numbers. Many CGA forum regulars have been playing computer games for much longer than six years.
I've been playing computer games since Wolfenstein 3D. So, 2007 minus 1992 is 15.
Fifteen years. Wow.
27 years since my first PC gaming experience. Been going strong ever since. BigTop in 1983 was one of my early favorites. I had a copy of Zork around when it first came out in 1979
errr. I played pong in like 1978 ish.
I enjoyed break out more.
Intellivision's football was hot in the early eighties.
I did play zork I thru III.
So I suppose how you define a computer game?
the first PC i really got into was the orginial DOOM (1993), but i cut my gaming teeth on the first Atari 2600 in proly 1977. So either 14 years or 30 years... 8)

Hearing Women playing a lot now is a surprise too. Though, still rare to find yourself playing on-line games with "many" girls.
