ok, i have a full size atx case, and im thinking since the bezel is really messed up , im gonna try n do a wood case, now i dont want any slots missing on the front, but i have no idea how the heck im gonna fill, 5 slots? i only have 2 cd roms, i have 1 zip drive i can use but im out of IDE ports on my mobo, so i guess a controller card is in order, but what else can i add onto that?

dvd burner, cd burner, cd rom, 5 1/2" floppy drive. Or one of those 20 in 1 memory card reader / usb / audio in / audio out / all in one, ide drive bay things.

well when i mean cd roms i mean, dvd rom and cd burner, and i already own a dvd burner, external.

check out thinkgeek.com and other sites like that for cool unnessary useless stuff. Like cup holders, cigarette lighters, etc to fill that extra space. :)

well, for the time being im trying to decide what wood im gonna use, i dont like the looks of pine, cherry is awesome but can be too, shiney if done wrong, and oak is good, just hard to work with.... any suggestions?

Are you gonna use a wood case for your computer bit's like motherboard and
video card?

If you are, keep the wood case away from termites.

go with cardboard.. that would be sweet... ohh! go with a shoe box! that would work.. i't's practically wood... and more affordable :P

eh he's going for the wood look.. but lego would be sweet... hey what about lincoln logs? just super glue them together.. make a little fort for ur pc :D

hmm, maybe i can do that as a secondary project.... but would the superglue take the paint off the logs??

rofl, id have to buy a bunch of em. but i will keep that idea in mind, im currently in pullman so im not able to implement or check design ideas till next week ( thought i was going home tomorow) but yeah.
