how do u use a full size atx?

Interesting idea. I had thought about that before and I know that the first apple computer was made about of wood, but I would think that wood would (heh) retain a lot of heat. A good computer case is designed in a way that provides a good airflow inside the case and to remove the heat. It's always recommended to leave the covers on in order to keep dust out and to allow the air to flow as the case was designed. (stuff I had to learn to pass the A+ a few years ago)

When you build your case, I'd recommend at least having a way to monitor the temperatures so your computer doesn't overheat. A lot of system BIOSes will tell you the system temperature and I've seen program utilities that can give you that info. Personally, I'd probably just look into getting a digital thermometer.

I've seen computer thermometers that fit into an unused drive bay. It might be a good investment.

yeah heating is one of my main concerns, thats another reason im chooseing cherry, it looks better than pine, but doesnt retain heat as well as cedar and oak, but yeah, any ideas for extra heat removal sides have like 3-4 case fans all in air flowing order out the back?
