2. Reinstating of the "sponsorship" program

This program is still in discussions. There are many items that need to be worked out and it is not yet final. Icthus editing

* First renamed to the name "Ambassador program", if i even spelled it correctly, due to the fact we are Ambassadors for Christ.

A member of Redeemed has a friend or family member who is a non-christian. They can choose to be an Ambassador for the non-believer. The Ambassador contacts the head recruiter and tells them of the players interest. The Head Recruiter discusses the guild and the Christian nature with the "recruit". Then asks the recruit to fill out the ToJ forms agreeing to CoC and then under the testimony simply place the "Ambassador program".

The head recruiter then contacts the GM responsible for the program. The CoGM then contacts the "recruit" and again has the discussion that Redeemed is a Christian guild and certain behaviors are expected, including the things that will be explained below.

Once the Ambassador, Head Recruiter and the Co-Gm all agree, applicant is invited into the guild and placed in the Diplomat level (We will rename the sheep to Diplomat).

The Ambassador is the first contact for any behavior issues.

If there are two issues the Ambassador and the Co-GM are to make contact.

If there is a third issue the Diplomat is removed from Redeemed.

This process is made clear to the applicant by all three parties during the recruiting process (Ambassador, Recruiter and GM). The applicant is always made aware that he or she is responsible for anyone accessing their account (roommate, brother, boyfriend or whatever). Anything that occurs is subject to the three strike rule.

Ambassadors are limited to one Diplomat every 3 to 6 months.

If a non-believer contacts the guild then the GM and Head Recruiter must decide if they are of the character required and then ask the applicant to find a suitable Ambassador.

3. Relationship with Sanctification

* We will support Sanctification as they establish leadership and vision.
* Any ill words spoken against anything in\with Sanctification will bring about consequences. All issues are to be directed to GM's.
* Raids will continue to be a cooperative effort with TE and TI.

4. Question and Answer time period.

So are diplomats allowed to be officers?

This is a part of the discussions.

I guess it depends on what you mean by officers. If you mean, can a diplomat be a GM or Co-GM, I would say most likely not. In the same way a diplomat of England cannot be a congressmen of Colorado.

Are there other "officer" roles? I think in my mind I could see that happening. Class leaders would be a possible area if we go that direction, just as an example. In contrast, I do not think is wise to make the Prayer Team leader a diplomat.

I almost to forgot to mention this, its kinda funny that our guild election was around the same time as the mid-term elections for the United States. We could go for having guild elections every two years?

Usually whenever they are required.

We will probably have more elections in December, but I cannot promise those due to the holiday season.

Those will be for a set of ranks below GM.

Yes, it is an evil empire and we will begin by renaming all ranks...

The first ranks is- NOT DUKATT
The second rank is- NOT Beriale
The 3rd rank is- NOT Gawron
the 4th rank is- NOT trey

And so on and so on... just to play into your little dream world...

***spits ink out of mouth from sucking on pen while reading these posts*** I loved the guild meeting. Sorry I've been quiet so much lately; been pretty sick with a local flu bug that doesn't want to go away. I'll have another post soon when I figure out how to word it about a thought. (gives everyone a suspenseful cliffhanger, or a boring one)

CHALLENGE TO YOU THINKERS

Here is what I've been thinking about and trying to come up with solutions. In some instances, this might be one, there might not be solutions.

We encourage everyone to hunt/play with fellow guild members. When you have a couple members at 18; a couple at 29, a few at 35; levels all scattered and people don't play at the same times, it will be hard for guild members to find people to quest with at the same levels. It is also hard to teach young members how to run instances with fellow players the same level if we don't have many the same level playing. Here is the dilemma I see:

I do not mind running people through dungeons and have done so many times. However, if the people have never learned to fight in a group of same level, they miss out on the thrill of overcoming bosses with more of a challenge; miss out on learning team work and many other game aspects. If we encourage our members to run with fellow guild members, they don't interact with others outside guild and it is important to learn to interact with others. Learning to let others lead sometimes and not trying to tell others how to play... these are all things we learn as we play. I've been seeing this in many aspects of play in our guild.

Do we always help people through dungeons to 'get the boss and items? when don't we? how do we encourage our young players to learn to interact? Twinking is cool but who and when? Should it be only for alts after someone has a 60? Do we twink our our lower level members to do better in battlegrounds to make a name for the guild?

I'm rambling a bit as my brain is scattered with a sinus infection that refuses to go away, but these have been thoughts going through my small tiny gnome mind.

Well, this is always the challenge of a guild.

For the most part I think people should find same levels to run instances. however, if you are on your second or third toon get a buddy and run.

This is an issue that FJ will be tackling soon. He will give leadership and direction to this area.

This is a really good point. On my first character I had friends run me through a lot of early instances and it hurt me later.

But please run iyce through, thank you.....

OK I just read the post. I con only say one thing.....

LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

I got nerfed by our last guild, which was only 3 of my friends that were already 60 that helped Lara and I out a lot. But they liked running us through instances up to SM, after that it was a little tricky and when they stopped being around every night and we started having to PUG it it got really rough:P It wasnt until a couple months ago when I took my hunter(around 27 at the time) through stocks that I had ever actually been in stocks with the right level group, was always a 60 with me before lol. Looking back on it I wish I had been through those instances with the right group from the beginning, sure its easier with a 60 but its a whole lot of fun with the right levels! And good practice for the later instances when 5 60s is the right level group:P
