Bleach (heading into probably the best 8 or 10 episodes coming up)
Just downloaded episodes 52-53 subbed by Lunar. I like the series, but the pace slowed dramatically after episode 20 or 21. I'm eager for the Soul Society story arc to finish so we can see Ichigo, Rukia, and Kon back together again.
Yakitate Japan (mmm... Bread making anime...)
Hm. I guess I overlooked that one. I'll see if I can find the first episode and give it a try.
Eureka Seven (Probably my favorite that I'm currently following)
I've downloaded 14 episodes of the series...but I still haven't gotten around to watching episode 1. *blush*
Tsubasa Chronicle (Clamp alternate world crossover series)
When I saw the trailers for Tsubada Chronicle, it looked so formulaic--a "business as usual" anime--that I dismissed it entirely. Is it worth picking up a few episodes in a batch torrent?
Full Metal Panic TSR (right up there eith Eureka as my favorite current series)
Rock
on. I'm diggin' TSR more than the original series right now.
Erementar Gerad (generic fantasy, stuck)
Skipped this one, too.
Trinity Blood (vampires, and warped religious overtones, stuck)
Skipped this one as well. I thought Hellsing received far too much press and I've since made a policy to avoid any series steeped in occult symbols, vampires, and other such rot. Such content usually indicates laziness on the part of the writer. "Well, we can't think up a story idea. Let's throw in some vampires!" NOTE: In an ironic twist, this is my 3,
666th post.
GunXSword (Trigun semi rehash sort of, slow releases)
I've downloaded the first four episodes, but haven't watched them yet.
Tide Line Blue (post-apoc storyline, following on and off, slow releases)
I liked what I saw with the first episode, but wasn't so impressed that I continued watching it. When a few series end, I might go back, download the full series by batch torrent, and give it a whirl.
Add to that at least the ones you mentioned for this season... daaaah, too many series...
Agreed. >_< But if you pick up only one new series this season, make sure it's Mai Otome. It already promises to be an excellent series (though I don't know if
anything can top Mai HiME).
