Do you or dont you do halloween?

Is it even possible to take my kids trick-or-treating without sinning?

All I can say to you is ask him and let the Holy Spirit convict you. Personally I am against it and see it as wrong. However I could be the one that is wrong. So all I can say is ask God.

do you think perhaps it might be a good thing for you to dress your children in non-pagan costumes, go door to door receive the candy and profess out of your mouthe:YESHUA IS THE LORD.
For in this fashion you will change the nature of what  the holiday is about, and then what if someday instead of saying "trick-or treat", we the children of GOd say on the same night once held for pagans, but now for us: "THE LORD YESHUA'S TREATS PLEASE."
It is in the final analysis only what you make of it in your heart.
So too, i go into the bars and have a beer and talk with those in there about Yeshua the Messiah.
i do not drink to excess and i do not excommunicate those who drink to excess not knowing THE LORD YESHUA.
i rush into the places they are hiding and bring the Word to them.
if they will receive it, i will give it.
The same applies to halloween.
Talk to people seeking the candy for their children but not seeking satan.
satan can not stop you in this even on that night.
But do not offend men. Rather you should set a good example for them when you go to gather the candy for your children.
Their gods are false and so do not have a hold over you.

I am a bit old for trick or treating adel. Now do you think me in a pretty little angel costume going around saying "hey listen up heathens YESHUA IS THE LORD-AH ah hakno ruach hakodesh barch ha adoni!" Do you really think me doing that is going to bring glory to Gods kingdom? I will tell you it is not going to it will only make people say look at that crazy guy. ( note any realation to the Hebrew language above is coincidental as I was only putting giberish and not tongues, thank you)
 
i see you in sackclothe, walking down the highways, boulevards and streets, placing coins in the hands of the faitheless, saying YESHUA IS THE LORD, AND then by ALL FAITHE RECEIVING YESHUA CLASS MIRACLES.
That is a sound thing to do on a night known to others as halloween.

honestly i don't remember... possibly as a very small child, but most of the churches I was brought up in offered some kind of alternative... so as far back as I can remember I did not celebrate halloween per se... but the season, yes.
 
dude, free candy..... costume.... fun... do i worship any 'gods?' no... do i think its wrong to go trick-or-treating? not really... depends on you.. if you are likely to get into trouble .. then you shouldnt go... but when people are stnding at their door with free candy.. im goin.. its not just about the origional holiday.. because.. whatever it was.. its not that anymore.. its just a fun time for lil kids to get free candy.. and to dress up.. now.. i do think.. that you should be dressed as a cat.. or a princess.. not satan or witches... but again.. free candy....

(for the record... i dont go trick-or-treating.. because there is no where to go around my town.. where there isnt trouble being made)
 
I dont know I am finding out more on the subject daily. So right now I am kind of undecided. Maby Adelpit is right and ill dress up like the two witnessess.

WAIT A MINUTE! I thought you believed there were three witnesses. And that you believe you are the third.
 
Alot of people dress up as satan for halloween. But they got it all wrong this is what satan looks like. He wears a red bunny rabbit suit and he has a big spork. But as things cross from the spiritual realm to the natural realm things get messed up. So if you are going to dress up as him that is what he really looks like.
