OR when your best friend makes you play Halo 3, the final level, on co-op just for the fun of watching get slaughtered...it was fun though
 
on tuesday, yes...he got it at midnight, and pretty much that's all he did in his free time...i refuse to give out spoilers...unless its for the right price (heh heh..sounding like a spy/mercenary..)
 
I waited for 5 hours for the midnight release, drove back to the dorm and proceeded to play co-op on heroic with a friend all the way through. We finished the fight at 7:43am Tuesday morning.

I'm so glad I only had one class that day.

Beat the game on legendary and there's a little extra footage on the video clip after the credits...
 
Wow. I was just re-reading the "Playing Female Characters" thread. So many memories...

Like around page 23, when Kel and I gained our rightful positions as royalty. It also marks the first appearance of forum cookies. :)

I found a perfect tshirt for MM, it says something like "What I really need are minions"

Then of course i found one for me: "sanity is backordered, sarcasm is in unlimited supply" and then "Yet, despite the look on my face, you're still talking?"

I need that last one for my sister. You can literally tell her "I was there, you don't need to tell me" or "I've seen that episode" or even "I really don't care, why are you telling me this, could you go AWAY" and she'll keep talking. I'm serious because I've actually said that.

If you don't like what they are talking about steer them away from it so that you can actually converse. Although some people may take offense at that if they feel their topic is important. Well, people generally take getting the hand worst then shifting the topic.

It's not really that, because all of her many short stories have no real point, and it's always when I'm busy that she needs to tell me something.
It's almost like she says,
"Oh, you're very busy... let me tell you a very interesting story."


or


"Oh, you're about to go somewhere, let me ask you 10 questions"
 
Here's the thing. Pirates have guns. Go watch The Last Samurai and tell me what wins, swords or guns. Then again, that is SAMURAI and not ninjas, but still.
