I rolled a character named Degin (same as my PS3 DCUO character) on the PvE world.

I don't know how long I'll play, but I do like the combat and the controller support. I just wish the PS3 and PC versions were cross-compatible. :(
 
I rolled on PvP, but I could make a pve toon sometime. I am pretty glad for controller support in this game with its style of combat. Will probably go by the name Sklurb when I do get around to it.

I am a little confounded by character builds though.
 
There is no pvp pve server. It is all one server. Go to the watch tower to switch to the phase you want to be in for that play session.
 
also, if you have a friend press f4, go to the friends drop down, and right click that friends name to phase to their instance of the server.
If you go villain, remember you have friends there too ;]
(The 'Keero Fratres' were all playing on the PVE server, but Keero uninstalled on account of Old Republic beta, which Gator has pre-ordered.)

anyone playing it on PC? If anyone's started a group or something that'd be the best. This is the first MMO I've played for more than 10 minutes and I could use some training. :p
 
Yeah there are a bunch playing. In fact tonight there are 3 of us planning to group up and knock out some levels.

Someone should go gold and build us a guild eh?

Yeah... maybe only a few of us are playing it on PC >.>
Didn't realize that people might NOT be playing on PC.

There isn't any group or league set up right now, I think that is only because the (speaking from my experience with the PC Version here) game only allows subscribed members to form leagues.
So for right now, everyone is just playing at their own pace and time. This means that most of the time you won't see any other CGA guys on while you play.
I think this is a result that its now a FreeToPlay game, so it has less priority than some of the other games out there *cough*Old Republic beta*cough*.
It iss a good game, but it seems like casual one.

No there is not.

There is only 1 mega server. In the watchtower you can pick which phase you want to play in. PVE and PVP are phase choices that can be changed at any time and as often as you want. They are not server choices. There is a massive difference. :)

Then why do they even give you the option when you make a character!?
 
Because you cannot be in both phases at once silly.

It is pretty legit. Finally you can level in pvp when with friends and level in pve solo. Or level up in pve and switch to pvp when 30. The whole time you can chat with friends and maintain 1 friends list.

YEAH! No... sorry. Cross play would be awesome but alas its not in, and I don't think there are plans to anymore.
 
I have a lvl 12 or 13 (can't remember) villain "Winter Owl" that I have been playing recently. Once I have played through the content on the villain side I will go back to play the hero side.

I'm assuming you are all running Heroes since you mention switching phases in the watchtower. I just re-rolled my "hero" slot (2 free slots - 1 villain + 1 hero) as I am finding severe limitations in PVP with my villain. I'll try jumping on TS next time I'm on to see if any of you are playing.

Hero: Otus (and yes Gerbil - this one does give a "hoot")
Villain: Winter Owl
 
PvP should be awesome on a Villain, Arena pops should be instant with the 4-1 ratio of Hero to Villain currently.
