thats why i prefer country music mostly. a few songs here and there i will change the channel for, but %50 of the time the songs are talking about God. and theres poetry and they sound good. also epic rock sounds good and is poetic. yet i get made fun of either for it being country, or being a nerdy kid for listening to fantasy style epic rock....
Like sex and drugs right?
Yeah, anything that's not about God is about sex and drugs. Come on.

i think ur quality vs quantity is very valid, because ur never gonna find epic christian rock very easy (im still hoping) and the quantity just isnt there. i mean noone listens to christian country (at least i hope they dont) and the rock just gets.... tiresome because its the same old stuff while in the secular world, new in 2954320532850325832084235940x genres exist with new bands every day

For instance, "Praise You in the Storm" starts like this:
I also wish there were more Christian songs on certain subjects because they are needed. Music often is used for specific purposes, not just because you like it. I mean how many romantic Christian songs are there out there. I can only think of D.C. Talk's "Godsend". There are probably more, but, I certainly haven't heard them on the radio. What if you want to have a romantic diner with you wife, but, don't want to listen or sort though all the lewd/non-lewd secular pop music? In my life I specifically have a need for Christian music to exercise, specifically vocal techno, or something angsty with a beat, but, there is only a few good Christian songs out there for this. I don't like linkin park's "Numb", but, musically it does get me moving (not that I have it). Christian music eschews battle music in general which is what I needThat's my problem though, I like Christian music, but, some of the time it doesn't serve the purpose I need it to and with pop I am flooded with messages obsessed with un-clean things. I have a hard time thinking of a Christian songs that mention certain serious subjects too (like abortion, I know only one).
I haven't either...
