i have a distrust of newegg because i spent over $600 buy one motherboard from them , it burned out in 3 days then bought another , different veriety one and it didnt even work at all , i even replace the fan to help with cooling but to no avail

you got a couple of bad ones..and that's unfortunate..i would shy away after that as well..but the egg usually does much better..

for a mobo i want to go ASUS or EVGA. not sure about the chipsets though.

I have had an Asus mobo in the past and it was ok, but never an EVGA so I cannot attest to their performance.

I recommend Gigabyte for their ridiculously good stability.

one of the best parts about newegg is their return policy is pretty top notch, or so I have read, I've yet to have a problem with them
