Today the current adult Bible believing Christians in the US is 25%. Only 25% of the people in America follow the Bible and believe it. 1/4, that’s low, and look how bad the US is right now. (billboards, posters, music, TV {that's a big one}, Computer/Internet {another big one},etc.)

With the current evangelism the next generation (the teens now, like myself, C$, and others) that percent will only be 4!! 4% that's terrible. Think about it now with 25%, now lets think about it with only 4%! That's scary! Now think about the effect that the United States has on the world. If the US is four percent and the US has the most influence in the world... well lets hope that never happens

BattleCry is the battle for a generation, OUR GENERATION! Hosted by ATF, It's a big rally in three places across the United States in several place trying to get that percent up. It's not just for youth and teens, it's for ANYBODY that cares about our future OR our youth. I am going there and I wanted to let you all know that this is happening and even if you can't make it to one of the rally's, now you know, you can tell your church pastor, your youth leader, or even just tell your self. WE can still do something to stop this, but we need to band together and take back our future!

ATTACK ON A GENERATION

Today's teens are being attacked by popular culture like no other generation. Hollywood, the music industry, advertisers, and even the mainstream media are using their arsenal of tools to win the battle for our teens' hearts- and so far they are winning! In order to defeat our enemy, we must know how it thinks and understand the weapons it uses. It is critical that we realize how far-reaching the crisis is- and then we must work together to stop it.

TELEVISION
This generation views 16 to 17 hours of television each week and sees on average 14,000 sexual scenes and references each year. That's more than 38 references every day.

INTERNET
This generation spends three hours a day online and is the first to grow up with point-and-click pornography. Almost 90 percent of teens have viewed pornography online at one of the 300,000 adult websites, most while doing homework.

MUSIC
More than 25 percent of teen-targeted radio segments contain sexual content; 42 percent of the top selling CDs contain sexual content

ADVERTISING
With more than $128 billion dollars in their pockets, this generation has been targeted by corporate America, who does everything it can to grow brands and profits without any regard to the moral decay of a generation.

You know what. THAT up there is scary, whats even worse is that we have been watching it happen without any opposition. THIS HAS TO STOP!



This is the Teen Bill of Rights that EVERY teen should have and follow by, i have vowed to try and up-hold these and I encourage more too.:

I liked your last question, it is very thought provoking. I wanted to add my two cents. I think the US is going to lose its death grip on the seat of power soon... I was reading about China becoming the next mega power and that is almost as scary as the statistics you showed us... not because it is China but because of what they believe. I used to think the US was a Christian nation... but the reality of that is that it has long since passed from the realm of having Jesus first. This is the reason for our decline and the things you talked about that are destroying our youth. Every nation/empire/whatever has its time in the sun and then dies away, just like people do. Think about it: how long has the US been on top? Why hasn't it fallen sooner? We are living on borrowed time as a nation and I will not be surpised if this generation sees the fall of the american domination. I may sound like a doomsayer or whatever, but I really have it on my heart that we are going to see some major changes. This is why I reach out to people and desperately want them to know Christ... because who knows when even that activity will be illegal or laughable? Just my thoughts... sorry if I went overboard.
 
I agree with you about China. They are quickly looking to overtake us as the world's superpower, and it's not at all surprising to me anyway. They've really figured out the whole Communism thing. Don't get me wrong, I don't like Communism in practice, but economically on the whole, it's the best way to get done what you want to get done.

And you wouldn't believe how organized they are now after so many years of disarray. I'll tell you something I like about the Chinese philosophy... perfection. In everything they do, they strive for perfection. In America, we're all about speed and productivity--usually no matter what the cost (unless it's money). The Chinese might have taken longer to make it, but they're 10 times better at everything they do.

Sorry if I'm sounding unpatriotic... I love America. :D Our heads have just grown too big. Pretty sure that's all I've got. Later!

Do you want to know where we will probably end up if we don't make a U turn? Look at Europe. I don't have the time to check the statistics right now, because my lunch is up in just a few minutes, but almost all of Western Europe is highly secular. How bad is it? They STILL think we are uptight prudes, even with today's moral standards.

Raise your hand if you're glad to be an "uptight prude." :D
 
I say we stop buying crappy made-in-China products and stop friendly relations with Communists. Then, when they get angry, we can nuke them into the past century and there goes another Communist threat looking to strangle everything free.
 
I found this in a book I am reading: "In essence, leadership is about helping people make sense out of life. Whoa! I think this is exactly what we are talking about here. I am not just trying to blame politicians or anyone specifically either. Our nation is in a decline because of the lack of God centered leadership. The first person to blame? Ourselves! I know I have not been doing my job to step up and be leading where I should... Ofcourse some of us (like the guild leaders) are doing all that they can do, so they are good examples to follow. I was able to identify a situation that I failed to lead in and it makes me so mad. I was trying to tell a friend about Christ and instead of taking the lead in the conversation I mearly hinted at something and when I went to bed I felt awful for not being more forthcoming. If you can't tell I am really fired up about this subject lol. :cool:
 
ok 1st I am a patroit, and i stand for the Red White and Blue and its morals NOT its leaders. That is why i do NOT support the war in Iraq, but i support our troops.

The United States is just asking for the world to kill it. We have done so much stuff to the world both environmentaly and politacly. (for the invironmental part see Al Gores movie "An Inconvienent Truth" one word in responce: WHOA) The US has butt its nose into everything thinking its the "God" of the world and it can solve the worlds problems. The leaders of the United States are corrupt and immoral and are cause the US to look like a hypocrit. The US keeps the common folk ignorant to the numbers and the stuff we are doing to the world. The media lies to everyone, really guys, God is comming soon (i will post about this later), Heaven is being prepared for our comming. Its only a matter of time before someone comes into power into the US and becomes a Dictator. The US has its golden time, now it will fall, i just pray that we are gone by then.
 
Yep i just got back from the one in tampa. It was my second one so i am kinda excited. Im giving up video games f9or now so i have time to give to god.

no not that, more then that. the ice caps are melting, people have found polar bears that have drowned cause there wasnt any ice for them to stand on. watch "An Inconvient Truth" after that there is nobody that can argue with that.
 
The United States cannot remain in the position it has had in the past. It must decline. The book of Daniel tells us that the last kingdom will have 10 kings. It is symbolised in the 10 toes of nebuchadnezzars statue from his dream and Daniel's vision of the beast with 10 horns. Some of these kingdoms are already in place, they are just being tweaked at the moment. They will all be "Unions". The european union is the first, fully functional 1/10. Our president is a globalist along with many in our government. Already, we are hearing talk of the "North American Union" on the news. This will be another 1/10th. It is mexico, canada and the U.S. melted into one large kingdom. The "African Union" was formed in the 60's and the "Pacific Union" is also being formed now. Once all 10 of these are in place, they will all elect a single leader for each one, and those leaders will give their power to the beast. Then, the man of sin will appear and mark the entire world with a chip in the right hand or the forehead and no one without the mark will be able to buy or sell anything. They will do this in the name of Peace and Safety and most of the war weary masses will gladly accept it.

For those who believe(d) in a 6000 year calendar, do not be deceived by our solar calander and our date. God's calendar is a lunar calendar and those cycles are very different. The correct year is 5978 from the fall of man until now. We are in the last minutes of the last hours of the last days and time is quickly running out. America will not be restored, not even with repentance. We cannot change the prophetic outcomes spoken of by those God appointed to speak them.

I do not know what will happen to america in general but those who mentioned China are smart folks. The chinese have been trying our military for years. Just 3 months ago, a chinese sub shadowed a major destroyer fleet on manuvers and we never even saw them until they surfaced. This was not widely reported and I never heard a word about it on fox news at all. I had to read military news just to find out about it. Now we see that while we were considering insane things like letting gays marry and fighting to keep killing babies, the chinese have established themselves far ahead of us by actually shooting a satelite out of orbit with a missle. This is an effective end to US domination of anything on this planet, let alone space. The chinese are now capable of assembling a 200 million man army and they sunk 90 billion $'s extra into their military spending last year alone. Our enlisted numbers are 1.4 million.

We need to spread the gospel. Tough times are ahead.

In regards to the battlecry post, I agree with everything in it. If you want to see the information on those behind the scenes in the movie/television industries, music industry, the public school system and many other things, purchase a movie/documentary from www.goodfight.org. They have spent a lot of time gathering facts for us, so if we have a few extra dollars, buying one of their movies would help them out.

The 20th and 21st centuries is the only time period in which Christians did not widely believe in a six thousand year calendar since the days of the first century church. The first chapter of Matthew (along with old testament statements about lifespans of people listed) reveals that there were 2000 years from Adam to Abraham, 2000 years from Abraham to Jesus and in 22 years we will hit another 2000 year mark, equaling 6000 years. The fourth commandment tells us that we are to work for 6 days and on the seventh, we are to rest. Scripture tells us that a day is as a thousand years to God and the book of the revelation tells us that there will be a rest for God's people which will last for 1000 years after the redeemed are claimed from the earth. 6000yrs + 1000yrs = 7 days

God told Adam that if he sinned, in that day he would die and yet we know that Adam lived to be just over 900 years old. Either God didn't keep His Word or his "day" really is 1000 years.

It's not a salvational issue but for me, it is just too much of a coinsidence that the tens toes and ten horns are well on their way to being complete, the 6000 year mark is approaching, all the nations of the earth are preparing to march on Israel (just one left... america), the "chip" is CLEARLY coming due to terrorism and disease tracking and the 40 years that God promised Israel they could be back in their land has come to an end. There really is much more information than what I am posting here but this is plenty for me. This is not foretelling the day and hour of Jesus' return, that is not possible. It is only seeing that God has established patterns and they are repetitive. That's all. Anyway, I hope that my posts on this thread are thought provoking. We need to ponder these things.

ya i love posting about this stuff too, and i really enjoy reading what your saying. That is really cool but as with almost everything about God hard to believe, idk if i can just adopt that 6000 year thing right here and now, i'll have to think on it. But ya i really like this stuff cause i can feel that God is comming soon and i can feel that God has a plan for me.
 
You should also remember the bible verse that states that people will claim that they know when God is coming back.... (just read the last three scentences of your post... right *coughs* this isnt to bash what your saying in the slightes.... you've got me more than convinced, it is extremely thought provoking... mind if i copy it to a secular forum?
