PGR 3 was difficult. Playing it directly after playing Burnout Revenge and NFS:MW wasn't the best idea. Totally different concept! But I had a lot of fun and it was challenging. I like that. Can't wait to get online and race.

I also bought BFME II today. It's Tolkien and well, I just couldn't hold back anymore. I'm a huge Lord of the Rings fan and have played both BFME games on PC already. This was my dream.

Yo guys I hear two sides to the live argument. Its drivin me nuts.
I hear from the few I know who play it, that it is the best thing that happened to them besides getting saved (exaggeration lol). Then, from parents online I hear that it is vulgar, lude, disgusting and highly intolerable.
someone help me out here. Is it all that bad? good?

I know you can mute players, but is it worth the hassle, or is it a hassle at all?
thanks

I've got it and I enjoy it. I'm not very good at it yet though. Wh1te out, I don't think I have you on my friends list. I'll be sure to send you a FR here. My GT is Dan12R

I think it really depends on the game and how you play. Like I've played a couple of games of BFME 2 and haven't had any problems. Everyone's cool there. But in BF2:MC, I run into idiots all the time. Also, if you want, you can just play with people who are trustworthy (such as all of us in TOJ). I've yet to have one problem with anyone here. And it's always good times.

Yeah, it's pretty much half and half as far as getting punks and stuff. But I usually don't mind just cutting off voice communication entirely.

Indeed -- I had been playing Midtown Madness 3 (which has arcade-style sterring) for about six months before I started playing PGR2. I sucked at PGR2 when I started, but after a bit of practice I figured it out. It's a very fun game once you get past the frustration factor. :P

I got an Xbox 360 Sunday with GRAW. I didn't get a gold membership yet but I do have a month free. I don't know when or if I'll get a Gold Membership, but I probably will. My gamertag is PhantomToJ.

I got BFME II for pc, beat it on both sides and had my fill of skirmish matches in less than 3 days. The only difference will be the game speed will increase (which actually makes the game 10x better). I don't recommend anyone BUYING it, rent it for sure. Takes a weekend to beat it!

Games to get excited about

I'm just curious as to what games we're all thinking/planning on buying. That way we know who else to look out for online when we pick up these games.

Rebuilding My Xbox Live Library

Hello again!

At the moment, I only have two Xbox Live-compatible games: Halo 2 and Crimson Skies. I'm hoping to rebuild my library so I can help steer this chapter a little more, so what games do you think I should get?

Here are some games I'd like opinions on:

- Far Cry: Instincts
- MechAssault 2
- Star Wars: Republic Commando

Are there any other good Xbox games I should know about? =)

Also, I've already got Burnout Revenge on order from Amazon. I'm also thinking about picking up PGR2 -- it's on Amazon for as low as $3.44 US.

Okay, I now own Project Gotham Racing 2, Burnout Revenge and Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow. Any other games I should look at?

I rented Farcry and took it back almost immediately. The language in it is pretty strong and it shocked me. There was even foul language in the multiplayer game.

The Rainbow Six games are fun. Personally, I think the original and Black Arrow were the best.

Does Star Wars Rebuplic Commando have multiplayer on Live? I can't remember. I just remember that I was seriously disappointed with that one. If you want a good Live Star Wars game, look at Star Wars Battlefront 2.

Mech Assault 2 had a fun single player game, but I personally didn't like the multiplayer gameplay. That's probably just me though because I know a lot of other people that like it.

My racing games are Rallisport Challenge 2, Forza, and Midtown Madness 3. All three are fun!

My favorite Live games are still Splinter Cell Chaos Theory and Halo 2! ;)

I only have Splinter Cell 2, Ghost Recon Advanced War Fighter and Halo 2. I've only played Halo 2 on Xbox Live for any good amount of time. I've played Splinter Cell maybe once or twice.
