I'm sorry your xbox broke :( I know how much that sucks... And gears 2 huh? ... I may have to wait until january or febuary to get it. :o I am low on money, and when I get paid in december, I figure all of the gears of war 2 copies will be sold out ^^;; But... If you or someone else would be willing for me to delegate the game night duties to them for a gears 2 night that could work. :)

I'm sure if you look, you'll be able to find a copy in December. Between all the local and online retailers, it shouldn't be bad.

I just got the tracking number for the return trip of my xbox. It's waiting to be picked up by UPS. If it's picked up today, I'll have it Friday for Gears 2's release. Otherwise it'll be Monday. I'm willing to get some people together. I thought it would be fun to get some people together to play some Horde. I've got a group of friends and family I promised I'd play Horde with when the game comes out, but perhaps we can get some people together for a Horde battle the week following. Just let me know who's interested and when works for you.

how about l4d? Is anyone planning on getting that for the xbox?? I will be getting it this month (lord willing) and I currently cannot decide on the pc version or the xbox version. Here are my reasons: My boyfriend and I want to play together right?? but... He doesn't have a way to connect to xbox live currently, and to do so would cost alot of money. Another thing is, I want to build up my xbox 360 games library so I have some variety for game nights. So basically, I want to fulfill my duties to you guys, but at the same time, me and my boyfriend really like co-op games and playing them together!!! So... I am kind of sunk XD;; Any advice would be really REALLY appreciated guys!!!
 
If that's the case, I'd go with the PC version unless you see people here talking about it. If there's not that many people here talking about it, it sounds like your decision is made. Personally I don't plan on picking it up any time soon.
 
okay, yup you're right. I preordered it for pc on steam and played it tonight with some of the other tribe of judah people and it was fun :)
 
lol never play rock band or gh. How is I am not a rock fan! How would you recommend someone who like christian rap, reggae, and latin? I want to play yht game but not my type of music. sigh... Lol tell me more about this game please as in music wise!

XBOX CHAPTER WEBSITE

Ok everyone the site is having some problems i am getting things fix and should have it up soon. If you have any ideas for the site please post below.

I will setup a calander, chat room, forums, interactive polls, and live updates on your gamer card also game reveiws on each game that comes out.

Add your ideas so that we can get this awesome site up and running before the nxe comes out. By the way i have the update and it is awesome. The only thing is i can back online till the 19th of this month with my xbox. talk to ya soon and God bless
 
I got my 20 tracks two days ago and I love the song, it is pretty tricky on drums when in easy mode.

A majority of the music is either mellow slower music (80's), old-school rock, a little bit of indie, cooler 90's stuff (more rockin'), and some nice 70's folk. About a third of the songs has to deal with love, other ones are about rocking out and having a good time. Out of the 30 (+ 20 DLC) or songs we unlocked, we don't like about 4 of them.

One is Alice In Chain's Man in the Box. It uses the name of Jesus Christ (screaming it) and backup vocals say "deny your maker", and some others have mild words in it (*ss, d*mn, h*ll, references to drinking and smoking. But only a small few.) But there are some more friendlier/clean songs, like Spirit in the Sky, talks about having a friend in Jesus. All the heavier songs have had their lyrics edited so you will get stuff hear on TV. As a fellow Christian, I like a lot of their song choices, but their are a few rotten apples here and there. But the whole Rock Band 2 kit (guitar/mic/drums/game) is going to set you back about $190 or so. :p

I suggest looking up both song lists and hearing the music for yourself to see what you do like.

I feel like the odd one out... Because I bought guitar hero world tour :o I like the song selection better than what I have heard in rockband... And the graphics are more appealing to me ^^;; Anyways... I haven't heard any out right blasphemous songs yet I don't think... Although it is extremely hard for me to pay attention to the lyrics when I am playing (and I think some of them are in foreign languages) but yup.... Most of the songs are light or classic rock, with some heavier stuff, and ofcourse there is the beasty boys in there too. They are always fun songs to listen to, atleast for me! Oooooh and living on a prayer by bon jovi is playable too, which I really like.
 
Unfortunately, I don't own quake 4... And I don't really plan to, either :( I suck REALLY REALLY BADLY at "arcade damage" first person shooters, and quake is no exception... So, it just isn't that fun for me... And I'm not sure how many other xbox live chapter members have it, but I would be willing to set up a game night for it if more people want to play it. Although I think right now probably the biggest candidate for game night is gears of war 2.
