The timing of the message was not intended to single out any group or individual. The alert is relevant to all affiliates and all users with access to private forums.
Yes, the level of access available to Administrators has been consistent since moving the forums to the vBulletin platform several years ago. The reason I posted the alert when I did was because (1) I realized there was a possibility that not all members of private forums are aware that Administrators see titles of new threads when using the New Posts link and (2) the Alliance is preparing to appoint a new Forums Administrator in the near future.
If anything, my error was not posting the alert sooner. Immediately after posting the alert, I added a link to the thread in the Important (stickied) Christian Gamers Alliance forum threads for maximum visibility.
Regarding the possibility of a female Administrator reading the Men's Forums: Any female member of this community I would grant Administrator-level access to would, like other Administrators, have already earned my trust not to read forums she should not. I not only have to trust Administrators to abide by that policy, but also not to damage the forums, either intentionally or accidentally. That is a tremendous amount of trust to place in a person and I do not award that trust without clear cause.
