Got it installed with the new dvd-rom and it works. Now the only problem is my wireless adapter isn't working, so no Internet. With win7 on the SSD, it took 15 seconds to boot up, so that's nice.

I checked the win7 OS DVD to another computer, it ran fast and smoothly. The problem is defiantly the DVD-ROM because it took almost 2 hours just to fail at 0%. I'll have a look at the current ROM drives. If its cheap, I'll get a DVD/blu-ray combo.

How do you go to BIOS? I tried pressing the keys before start up and it either doesn't work or brings me to a memory diagnostics. Its possible the keyboard is disabled when it happens.
